Interesting Poll Results:

Ron Paul in Third Party Run?

by Mondoreb

Ron Paul as a wild card?
Rasmussen's latest poll results might tempt candidate Ron Paul(R-TX) into a third-party run.
Interesting results from a 3-way race involving Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani and Ron Paul. From The Corner at NRO
They don't match [Ron Paul] up with anyone specific. It would be interesting to see how pro-lifer Ron Paul would fare:

One of the most interesting possibilities floating around out there is that, after the primaries are over, Paul could offer an antiwar, pro-life, third-party alternative to either Rudy Giuliani or Hillary Clinton (in 1988 Paul ran for president as a member of the Libertarian Party). If his fundraising continues at this pace, he might be tempted to do it. Something tells me it’s a possibility the Clinton camp isn’t exactly dreading.
Is a Ron Paul third party run in the cards? The resulting electorial results would almost ensure that none of his campaign goals would ever become law. This would also almost ensure a Hillary Clinton presidency in 2008. Bill Clinton had Ross Perot; might not Hillary Clinton have Ron Paul?
