'Anonymous' Hackers Vow to Destroy Scientology

"We are Anonymous. We are legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us."

Scientology has a new enemy and its name is Anonymous.

Anonymous Issues Its First Warning About Scientology

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the entity known as Anonymous is out to "destroy" Scientology. The group declared war on Scientology by way of Youtube posting its "declaration of war" on a video.
"Anonymous has therefore decided that your organisation should be destroyed, for the good of your followers, for the good of mankind, and for our own enjoyment," the statement says.

"We shall proceed to expel you from the internet and systematically dismantle the Church of Scientology in its present form," it continues.

After 19 envelopes of white powder arrived at Scientology churches in the Los Angeles area, nervous cult members contacted the FBI. Several Scientology websites crashed last week in Great Britain and the United States.

Anonymous' Declares War on Scientology

Anonymous has called their action, "Project Chanology":
Named Project Chanology, the protests are being organised through Facebook groups and online chat rooms, with official Scientology websites and even its buildings being touted as targets.

Protests are organised for cities including Sydney, New York, Los Angles, London, Vancouver and Stockholm.

The reason given for the attack on Scientology are claims that the church is "censoring the internet" along with "campaigns of misinformation".

FOX 11 Report on "Anonymous"

The catalyst seems to be Youtube yanking the "secret" Scientology video of major star and Scientologist Tom Cruise. In the video Cruise talks about various aspects of the religion. The video was supposed to of been pulled from Youtube but it's still there, all nine long minutes and 34 seconds of it.

We found all three videos, the two from Anonymous and the Tom Cruise Scientology video, to be absolutely nuts. And yet no matter how looney tune Cruise sounds about his "religion" the man is fabulously successful from his own hard work and endeavors.

Someone said Cruise's video is like a train wreck, you can't look away. "It's grotesque in a macabre sort of way."

Real life, is indeed, stranger than fiction.
