Burkini: Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow-Polka Dot Burkini

Bop bop bop bop bopopopopopopop

She was afraid to come out of the شاطئ, منطقة ساحلية سكن
She was as nervous as she could be
She was afraid to come out of the شاطئ, منطقة ساحلية سكن
She was afraid that somebody would see

Two-three-four, tell the people what she wore

It was an Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Burkini
That she wore for the first time today
An Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Burkini
So in the شاطئ, منطقة ساحلية سكن, she wanted to stay

Will women Muslim beach bunnies soon be seen frolicking on the globe's beaches?

If they are, they'll likely be in a burkini.

A burqini (or burkini) swimsuit is a type of swimsuit for women designed by Lebanese Australian Aheda Zanetti under the company name Ahiida. The suit covers the whole body except the face, the hands and the feet (enough to preserve Muslim modesty), whilst being light enough to enable swimming. It was described as the perfect solution for Muslim women who want to swim but are uncomfortable about "revealing" bathing suits

  1. I think the Burkini is a wonderful garment for beach wear and for casual swimming, although perhaps too restrictive for serious athletes.

However, for sun protection and comfort, it's a great idea. I wish people were more open-minded about it.

  2. I like the idea of the Burkini because I have always loved swimming and I felt sorry when I heard about women in Afghanistan and other Middle Eastern countries not being allowed to swim. With the Burkini they can now swim without being accused of immodesty by their menfolk. As long as European women are not berated or bullied by Muslim women for not wearing Burkinis as well, this is a great idea which gives the Muslimas a tiny bit more freedom.
