Hours after the car crash that prppelled Tiger Woods' into a maelstrom of affairs, women, alcohol, accusations and a steady stream of tabloid headlines, the superstar golfer returned to the hospital--this time for what was listed as an "overdose".

According to Tiger Woods Admitted to Hospital as OD:

(TMZ) - Tiger Woods was taken to hospital suffering a suspected drug overdose the day after Thanksgiving -- hours after the car crash that exposed his string of affairs -- TMZ.com reports.

The TMZ report goes on to state:

Sources connected with the Health Central Hospital, in Florida, where the embattled golf ace was admitted under an alias, said he was marked "OD" on the admissions chart lists and was having trouble breathing. Woods was “in and out of consciousness, snoring at the scene” and seemed under the influence of a substance other alcohol, according to sources. His wife Elin Nordegren was by his side.

This can't be good news for sponsors of Tiger Woods. RadarOnline is reporting--and DBKP had it earlier in the week--that Marketers Pull Tiger Woods Ads From Primetime.

The fallout from Tiger Woods' alleged extramarital affairs continues.

Marketers have pulled all of the golfer's ads from prime-time television networks and 19 cable channels, according to a Bloomberg.com report.

MORE from Bloomberg: Tiger Woods TV Ads Disappear After Reports of Affairs (Update2).

Advertisements featuring Tiger Woods have disappeared from prime-time broadcast television and many cable channels following reports of his extramarital affairs, according to data from Nielsen Co.

The last prime-time ad featuring the 33-year-old golfer was a 30-second Gillette Co. spot on Nov. 29, according to New York- based Nielsen. Woods also was absent from ads on a number of weekend sports programs, including NFL games, Nielsen said.

Sponsors are downplaying their distancing from Tiger Woods, such as Gatorade's statement that its dropping of Woods' endorsement from Gatorade's Focus sports drink had 'nothing to do with his recent publicity about his affairs'. [Gatorade Drops Tiger Woods Endorsement; More to Follow?]

But marketers are controversy-adverse: they'll say as little as possible. Most follow-up questions so far--such as ones by RadarOnline to Gatorade--are usually met with a "no comment".

And the news that "someone" has been shopping naked pictures of Tiger Woods to PlayGirl magazine can't be greeted with anything but a faceplant by Tiger Woods' sponsors.

This tsunami of negative Tiger news stories--after years of nothing but managed image polishing by Team Tiger and the media--has taken most of the public by surprise.

But the news has gotten progressively worse if you're a Tiger Woods sponsor or fan. First it was an affairs; then, it morphed into multiple affairs. Stories of drugs, gambling and alcohol have surfaced in the last week.

Who can keep track of the mistresses coming forward? We have been counting the Tiger girls, but there were at least two additional women who came forward on Tuesday, including Joslyn James.

That brings the total to around a dozen, but that number seems likely to change.

The cumulative effect has been that advertisers who just a week ago seemed solidly behind Woods today seem to be quietly re-thinking their business relationships.

Every day brings more bad news, more pictures, more audio clips of phone messages and more pictures of Tiger's former mistresses behaving badly. The Internet is awash in photos of Tiger Girls posing naked, semi-nude or angling for camera shots for cash.

Tiger's beleaguered wife, Elin Nordegren Woods, has been reported to have moved out of the couple's home and packing to move to a home she's reported to have bought in Sweden for $2 million.

Speculation on whether Tiger Woods can hold his marriage together has shifted to "how much"--as in "how much will his wife get in a divorce settlement"? The latest figures seen are $300 million, but with Woods' estimated worth at $1 billion, that seems to be a little on the low side.
