Jew-Eating Bunny and the Danish Cartoons: Hannah Montana, It Ain't

"The Palestinian people deserve [a state of their own]. And it will enhance the stability of the region, and it will contribute to the security of the people of Israel."

--George Bush, January 10 2008 radio address

Assud the Martyrdom rabbit says the darndest things

George Bush isn't the only one who says the darndest things.

Assud the Matyrdom Rabbit, and his sidekick, 11-year-old Saraa continue their merry martyrdom-promoting ways on Hamas kiddie TV program "Pioneers of Tomorrow".

No carrots for Assue when he's wanting a snack.
A JEW-eating rabbit named Assud has become the newest star of a militant Palestinian children's television show after the death of his "brother".
The Pioneers of Tomorrow children’s series produced by Palestinian group Hamas and made famous by a Mickey Mouse-looking character declaring jihad on Israel and the US, introduced Assud the Bunny.

Assud - who said in his first episode that he would “get rid of the Jews, Allah willing, and… will eat them up” - replaced his brother, Nahoul the Bee, according to the translation from the Middle East Media Research Institute.

Give me a "D"! An "E"! "A"! And a "T"! An "H"!

"What's that spell?"

"DEATH!"

"CULTURE of DEATH!"

Mickey Mouse look-alike Farfur and Saraa with a
reminder for the U.S. Secretary of State Condi Rice

Little Green Footballs showcase the latest adventures of the cuddly bunny, in a video, as he takes the Danes to his woodshed.
Yes, it’s Assud the Jew-eating Hamas rabbit, appearing again on the Hamas kid’s show Pioneers of Tomorrow with zombie child host Saraa, urging Palestinian children to boycott Danish products, kill anyone who “insults” Mohammed, and wipe out Israel.

And now a word from our sponsor...

The culture of death is alive and well on Palestinian kiddie TV.

The wascally wabbit began his wind-up to the recorded part of the LGF post with a cheery, "Martyrdom for the sake of Allah is what we hope for, right?"

Saraa (little 11-year-old girl who's the kiddie host): What do you have to say to this criminal, the cartoonist who affronted the Prophet by drawing him?"
Assud: "I say to him what you already said: you criminal, you low-life, you scum of the earth--right, Saraa?

Allah willing, the day will come when you regret this."

Hannah Montana, it ain't.

Gather 'round the Katyusha, kiddies, and let me tell you a story...

Assud kicked off his TV career with a bang--just like a suicide bomber.
In an interview with the program’s host, a young girl purportedly named Saraa Barhoum, Assud talked about becoming martyrdom.

"We are all martyrdom-seekers, are we not, Saraa?” Assud said on the show.

Saraa said: “Of course we are. We are all ready to sacrifice ourselves for the sake of our homeland. We will sacrifice our souls and everything we own for the homeland."

According to the program’s plotline, Nahoul died because he could not leave Gaza to seek medical treatment from neighbouring Egypt.

Nahoul himself replaced the program’s original star, Farfur the Mouse, who was “killed by an Israeli soldier”.

So who knows how long Assud will be around until something happens to him--in the Palestinian TV animal sense of the word.

One might suggest that before any more lofty pronouncements are issued by U.S. leaders on how a Palestinian state will "enhance stability" of the region, that those leaders be forced to watch 2 or 3 hours of the "Pioneers of Tomorrow" kiddie show.

You can tell a lot about parents by what they teach their children.

Or by what they let them watch on TV.

The Republican Party in Trouble: R.I.P. G.O.P.

A Tale from the BlancaSphere

It's official. The party of Lincoln is dead. The party of Reagan has been on life support for some time and is not expected to recover.

Over the past two years I have watched my beloved party become a cesspool of impropriety.

If it wasn't mens room toe tapping, it was underage page picking up.

If it wasn't bribery scandals, it was lobbyist scandals.

It it wasn't drunken uncontrolled spending, it was drunken uncontrolled drinking.

Where did we go wrong? I mean all we asked for was complete unquestioned authority. We didn't need checks and balances. That's for pussies. We certainly didn't need any kind of an opposition party. That kind of crap is for Old Europe. This is the New World Order, and we can write our own rules.

It looked good there for a while. We managed to have it all. Commander Guy was at the helm, we had Tom Foley running the show in the House, and in the Senate, with the VD in charge. We had it our way.

Then came that bastard Jim Jeffords. I will never forgive him. He threw the Senate back to those Democrats, and it looked like we were going to have to compromise and cooperate.

But then, as if to answer our prayers, came 9/11. Oh, I remember it just like yesterday. It was great. We once again had complete control of everything. It was finally in vogue to just do what we told you. Man, that was cool!

Then came Iraq. It looked great at first. I mean we owed it to the Decider for saving us from the al Queda by reading that book to those children in Florida. He deserved to have a war. That way he got to play dress up and fly onto that aircraft carrier.

Just thinking about his cod piece gets this girl's blood flowing!

And then things started to go south. Iraq was no longer the fun and games we thought it would be. The shine was coming off, and underneath it looked like bad primer. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

And then it got ugly. The populace turned on us. They started to hiss at us. Even our proxies, like Ann Coulter were getting pies in the face.

Then, it became downright scary. People blamed us for Katrina. Damn those black folk drowning on us like that! And damn those TV choppers with cameras! Why didn't those NOLA folks have the decency to drown when no one was filming?

People seemed to get all testy about our knowing better about life ending issues than a husband and his wife. I don't understand, but they just didn't like us passing a law that applied to one brain dead chick in Florida. I think that was the moment when the wheels came off.

Then all those sex scandals made us look really bad. It was getting to the point a Republican couldn't even try to pick up a prostitute in a bar without getting fingered--and not in the good way.

I mean what is the world coming to when you can't pick up the phone and have your gay male gigolo come over for some oil "massages" and crystal meth?

So here we stand, with our presumptive nominee for 2008 a RINO, a poser, a wannabe. And our Commander Guy has finally succeeded where no other President has. His approvals are the lowest ever. I think it is time to start the funeral pyre and get out while the getting is good.

I have been working on my plea to have Mike Huckabee run as a third party candidate. All conservatives should join me, for the sake of the union. This new party will embrace all the finer things about the Republican party, and bring together true neoconservatives, true religious conservatives, and all the groups which hate all the right people. We will call it the Conservative party, because Nazi was already taken.

Together we can forge ahead into the 16th Century, when men were men, and women were property.

Actually, a lot of men were property, too.

It will be great. It will make the Ghost of Jerry Falwell proud. I'm sure he'll be looking up at us and smile as his dreams of anal invasion are fulfilled for all eternity.

Andrew Sullivan, George Bush and the GOP

[Originally written on October 28, 2007, we thought this was one of Blanca's Greatest Hits. Like Rod Serling, DBKP reprints it for your consideration...]

If You Can't Stand the Heat

Mr. Sullivan, I watched Real Time with Bill Maher this Friday. Actually I time-shifted and watched it on Saturday, but that is the genius of the Tivo, without which pundits like myself would be lost. The vapid flow of information, which endlessly streams from the Mainstream Media, is far too much my mind to process timely.

To be quite honest, your breed confuses me.

You try to enter our tent, and then become confused when we want you to enter in the rear--rather apropos for someone of your predilections, don't you think?

This is a Christian party. We occasionally let in the wayward Jew. And once in a while, a couple of black people sneak in.

But for the most part, this party is Christian, white, and straight. We have embraced this for years. If we didn't, don't you think we would have passed some sort of legislation when we owned Congress to help the "others?"

Oh, of course when a minority comes into the party, and passes the prerequisite challenge of having wealth and being willing to abandon others like him, we let him rise high in the party.

We have even permitted a couple of your type to rise, as long as they had the decency to keep their private affairs secret, live in a closet, and clap and cheer when the President introduces legislation designed to make them second-class citizens.

It's the only polite thing to do.

As I watched you complain about our beloved President, I grew more and more angry as the hour progressed. I couldn't understand why anyone would willingly enter an organization, which very vociferously has made it quite clear over the years that you are not welcome.

It would be like a Negro attempting to enter his local chapter of the KKK, and then complain about the lynching policy. It just doesn't make any sense, don't you think?

You seem like an intelligent man. You're familiar with the story of Faust, aren't you Mr. Sullivan? Not the all-male pornographic version, which I mistakenly rented from my local video rental. [Note to self: must change video rental stores.]

No, the original, written by the German Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. A medieval scholar makes a bargain with the Devil in order to gain the knowledge of the world, in essence to gain power.

Knowledge is power. Or, for folks like you: knowledge=power.

Faust is followed home by a poodle, an adorable dog, with curly hair and a penchant for dressing like a sissy, something with which you may be familiar Mr. Sullivan. At home in Faust's study, the poodle transforms into Mephistopheles.

It is at this point that perhaps one of the most quotable lines of Goethe is uttered: Das ist des Pudels kern. For those of you who are Germanically-challenged: That is the poodle's heart.

Why do I wax on poetic, and probably psycholitic in your eye?

You stated on Bill Maher's show that you voted for our beloved Commander Guy in 2000, but you became disenchanted in later years. Perhaps you lacked that simple talent which our Decider has mastered so skillfully, the art of looking a man in the eye and seeing into his soul.

He has done it often with Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, or Pootie-Poot, as our Commander Guy likes to call him--a name so fitting for a former KGB officer. Had Faust simply looked into the poodle's eyes, he would have seen the heart, which was the Devil's.

Do I say that our beloved President is the Devil?

Hardly.

But if you, as a man of letters, and a man of conscious, as you so artfully claim, could not have seen into the heart of the poodle which followed the Republican Party home in 2000, then you have no one to blame but yourself.

And like the poodle, which followed the Party home in 2000, the Party followed the Religious Right home one fall in 1994, looking for a home after a brilliant ass kicking by one William Jefferson Clinton.

Clinton mastered the art of speaking to the public, to both sides, although not to the fringes. He became the middle-of-the-road President, who occasionally strayed to one side or the other of the line, but who could be counted upon to eventually return home to the medium.

And this double-yellow-line philosophy is what scared the living shit out of us on the extreme right. We knew we could not compete with Clinton on substance alone.

We knew that a populist cannot be destroyed. We unfortunately learned that lesson rather late with the failed attempt at Impeachment. And so when the Religious Right found that lost poodle one day and took it in and fed it, our party wagged the tail, to appease its new master.

Now don't get me wrong, President Clinton was evil, pure evil.

I can't remember why, but Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity tell me this on a regular basis, so I must believe it.

Like all good Republicans, abstract and critical thinking are not my forte. I am much better suited to follow a strong leader, someone who doesn't care what the polls or the people think; one who doesn't care what the international community thinks; one who doesn't care what the facts state: facts have such a well-known liberal bias.

That man is our beloved Commander Guy, one Mr. George W. Bush.

So Mr. Sullivan, you see that you really have no stance, wide or otherwise, in this argument. You knew what you were getting into.

I love my President. He has done the hard work, making progress, moving forward, doing a heckuva job. If you don't like what the party has become (notice I didn't use the word "evolved") then get the hell out.

We really don't want you, anyway.
