Video: Louis Farrakhan Calls Obama the "Messiah"

More Obama the Messiah Talk
This time from Louis Farrakhan

Louis Farrakhan, Saviors Day 2008:

"You are the instruments that God is gonna use to bring about universal change. And that is why Barack has captured the youth."

Louis Farrakhan is pretty clear who he thinks that is.

"That's a sign: when the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear."

Geesh.

Looks like we'll have to order a new Bible.

Obama: Whitey Tape Means Michelle O is Going for a Trip--Under the Bus

The Countdown Begins

"If Obama can throw his pastor under the bus, what will he do to LGBTQ* voters on his way to the White House?"
-- Rev. Irene Monroe in a Windy City Times column about Illinois Sen. Barack Obama's race speech and Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

* - Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgendered-TransSexual-Queer

There's NO CHANCE that it will get any more crowded under the Barack Obama "Ch-Ch-Change" Bus.

Is there?

Larry Johnson, of the No Quarter blog, opened a cold, coy can of conversational whoop-ass this morning. Johnson, who served as a Deputy
Director in the U.S. State Department’s Office of Counter Terrorism, learned over the weekend that the rumored "Michelle Obama Whitey" tape is no rumor.

According to Johnson:

I learned over the weekend why the Republicans who have seen the tape of Michelle Obama ranting about “whitey” describe it as “STUNNING.” I have not seen it but I have heard from five separate sources who have spoken directly with people who have seen the tape. It features Michelle Obama and Louis Farrakhan. They are sitting on a panel at Jeremiah Wright’s Church when Michelle makes her intemperate remarks. Whoops!! When that image comes out it will enter the politcal ads hall of fame. It will be right up there with the little girl plucking daisy petals in the famous 1964 ad LBJ used against Barry Goldwater.

So, the tape really exists and it's in the hands of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy (feel free to substitute "Evil Republican Noise Machine", if you like).

"Farrakhan, Wright, and Pfleger are each on tape in various settings spewing the most vile racists garbage in the guise of preaching. Barack Obama, up to this point, has tried to pretend he had no idea that these men had these thoughts or said these things.

NONSENSE!"

--Larry Johnson, in Michelle Obama and Louis Farrakhan Take On Whitey

There will be an EXPLOSION of political pow-wows over what to do about the tape. In the Obama camp, spin-mongers will spend many a sleepless night over anything that will stop the bleeding. For a politician that started out as the "Great White (Liberal) Hope"--full of inspiring, airy platitudes and policies--further revelations that Barack Obama is surrounded by a racist cadre, will prove to be a political killer.

In the GOP ranks, the only question will be, "When?"; as in, "When's the best time to release the tape to the media".

Like a vampire reacting to dawn, white blue-collar voters have run away from Obama--as news of his cronies and the tapes of their putrid public pronouncements--have surfaced.

It seems that, when it comes to choosing candidates for the Oval Office, working-class voters are heeding an old adage: "If You Lay Down With Dogs. You’ll Get Up with Fleas".

The $64,000 Question

Which raises the inevitable question, given Obama's historical response to any exposure of his inner circle's behavior:
"
Will Barack throw Michelle under the bus?
"

"NEXT!"

"I can no more disown him (Jeremiah Wright) than I can disown my white grandmother

-- Barack Obama, Philadelphia, March 18

Madelyn Dunham, Obama's white grandmother, now resides under the ever-spinning wheels of the Obama 2008 campaign vehicle. Her crime? She was once nervous, while waiting for another kind of bus.

The Rev. Jeremiah "God Damn America" Wright, is under there, too. So is Father Michael Pflaeger and the Trinity Church.

It might be wise for Obama to check the tread on that bus's tires; he might need an all-terrain vehicle, at this rate.

As The Bench put it:
"How can you trust Obama now? He said he could no more "disown" Reverend Jeremiah Wright than he could "disown" his mother. Or his dog, or something like that.

Then he disowned him. The other day, he disowned Father Michael Pfleger. This weekend, he disowned his entire church."

Will Michelle Obama be the next to feel the wheel's ruthless, rubberized crunch of the "Change-for-Lunch Bunch"?

The prediction from this corner: YES!

Like a pilot of a rapidly-deflating hot-air balloon, Barack Obama will stick to form and jettison any dead weight on his bid for the White House--and that includes his wife, Michelle, and any of her hateful "Whitey" statements.

Obama is a politician; he will do what politician do in a crisis: CYA.

Cover Your Ass.

BH Obama will disown his wife.

However, it will be banishment with a nod and a wink. Michelle will willingly take a trip underneath the Obama 2008 bus--if it means she can add "first lady" to her resume.

So, Michelle Obama, get ready to come on down.

Under the bus.

At least you won't be lonely.

Publisher of Curious George Considers Legal Action Against Obama T-Shirt

Marietta (Georgia) bar owner Mike Norman may get hit with copyright infringement by the Curious George publisher Houghton Mifflin Harcourt over his Obama 08 t-shirt.

Norman, the owner of Mulligan's Bar and Grill in Cobb County, "designed" the Curious George Obama 08 t-shirt but claims it isn't racist. He did mention that he was "saying out loud what everyone else in town whispers" and also, according to the Atlantic Journal, "acknowledged the imagery's Jim Crow roots but sees nothing wrong with depicting a prominent African-American as a monkey."

Norman went on to say "we're not living in the 1940's. Look at him (Obama)... the hairline, the ears, -- he looks just like Curious George".

Is Norman correct, that a t-shirt depicting Senator Obama as a monkey albeit Curious George, isn't offensive and can't be construed as being the same ilk as the extremely racist and highly offensive Jim Crow charactertures from the recent past?

Norman himself answered our question when he intimated that his t-shirt was something that "everyone else in town whispers". Protesters have lined up, such as the virulently anti-semitic Nation of Islam, to call Norman's Curious George Obama 08 t-shirt offensive and racist.

President Bush is not immune from comparisons to a monkey. How is comparing Bush to a monkey different than Norman's Obama as Curious George?

Granted you can't call these photos racist but are they insensitive and/or offensive?

Jeramiah Wright: Obama Pastor A Portrait of Hatred from the Pulpit

"God Damn America"

Obama's pastor, a portrait of hatred from the pulpit

You have to see the video of Rev Jeremiah Wright's sermon to get the full impact of his vitriolic " ranting " -by the way, a word that is derogatory in the extreme, whatever youthful bloggers may think, if, that is, they know how to think at all.

Rev Wright's performance in the sermon first telecast on Fox TV is a sight to behold and something else to hear. It is hate filled, worthy of Farrakhan, and simply ugly.

To be very sure, I have been highly skeptical of Obama for some time now , and I have looked for weaknesses to exploit politically. But I never thought that I would find anything like this. Obama's "guru," his spiritual mentor, the man who officiated at the senator's wedding to Michelle, who led the church Obama has attended for 20 full years, turns out to be the "Christian" equivalent of Louis Farrakhan.

The heart of the sermon in question (apparently similar to many other of his sermons ) has been shown on Fox ONLY, as far as I can tell. The other networks, as much as I have been able to look in upon them , have all shown other material, or at most very short segments of the worst parts of that diatribe.

So now I know, as if it wasn't clear before., the mass media is invested in an Obama victory and will not in any way seriously criticize him unless backed into a corner from which escape is impossible.

It is that blatant.

Granted, I favor ( at lest generally ) the economic policies of the Democratic Party.
With very real prospect of a Recession before the end of 2008, this factor has special importance. My "pocketbook" tells me to favor the Democrats. But this is impossible, it has been impossible before today, but now it is ludicrously impossible.

A political expert--I don't recall her name--made an observations that sums it all up. The case of Rev Wright -yelling and screaming that the US government engineered AIDS in order to kill off the Black population, that the government brought 9/11 upon America, etc., etc.--is NOT a matter of guilt by association.

It is a question of Barack Obama's poor judgement in staying with Rev Wright's church for 20 years of hate centered and paranoid delusionary sermons.

Poor judgement of the very worst kind--for 20 years.

Obama sees little that is controversial about his church, as he says. This tells me, very clearly, that he has become so desensitized to hate and paranoid rantings that such nonsense seems unexceptionable to him.

And it is also clear that Michelle's comment, that for the first time in her adult life she has pride in being an American, can now be seen as anything but an isolated sentiment, but as standard fare at Trinity United Church.

A church that also happens to be racist.

As I said, you need to see/listen to the actual sermon. Surely it will be posted on more than one site in the next day or so. When you do see it, there can be no doubt at all.

Rev Wright utterly hates white America. Yes, he may make exceptions, and yes, he is capable of being on his "good behavior" when people like Martin Marty visit the church, but the essence of his views are that white people are to blame for all that is evil in the United States.

This is the philosophy that Barack Obama has willingly listened to for two decades now. And it is no wonder that he let a Freudian slip pass his lips in the days before the New Hampshire primary election, about how " we " are taking over now.

Who is the "we"?

I'm certain you know the answer without my telling you.

In other words, the stuff Obama says at public political events is all hot air. The slips of tongue tell us the truths he dare not profess openly. He may be conflicted about it all, and with good reason., but the fact is that it is his poor judgement that is now on display for the world to see.

Obama is exactly what I said he was about a month ago: a reverse racist.

Yes, he now disavows Rev Wright just as he disavowed Farrakhan a short time ago.
But it is far too late for such protestations to mean much of anything when, for all
the years since 1988, he obviously found little or nothing in their views to criticize or condemn Indeed, until Iowa and even later, he remained pro-Farrakhan and very much a devotee of Rev Wright and his sick values.

The following ABC news story (some emphasis added) is a decent enough introduction to the subject of Rev Wright's demagoguery and hatefulness.

But to say it one more time, you have got to see the video to really get a feeling for how vile Jeremiah Wright actually is. He is Farrakhan's "spiritual" twin.

I'm being excessive?

Not a chance in hell. Do not take my word, however, see the video.

You will say then the same thing , I have no doubts at all.

Louis Farrakhan: Twenty Controversial Quotes

Louis Farrakhan insists he's misunderstood and his quotes are "taken out of context".

We assembled a body of Louis Farrakhan quotes from throughout his public speaking.

The reader can then decide better for themselves about Farrakhan's intent.

From Wikipedia:
Louis Farrakhan (born Louis Eugene Walcott, May 11, 1933), is the acting head of the Nation of Islam (NOI). Perhaps the most provocative aspect of Farrakhan's political philosophy are comments he has made that have widely been seen as antisemitic.

Twenty controversial and anti-semitic quotes from the leader of the Nation of Islam.

"They call them terrorists, I call them freedom fighters."

-- Louis Farrakhan, on Hezbollah, at District Council 33 Union Hall, Philadelphia, April 22, 1996

"The Jews have been so bad at politics they lost half their population in the Holocaust. They thought they could trust in Hitler, and they helped him get the Third Reich on the road."

--Saviours' Day speech, Chicago, February 1998

"White people are potential humans - they haven't evolved yet."
--Philadelphia Inquirer, March 2000

"Now that nation called Israel, never has had any peace in forty years and she will never have any peace because there can never be any peace structured on injustice, thievery, lying and deceit and using the name of God to shield your dirty religion under His holy and righteous name."
-- Louis Farrakhan, 1984

"Many of the Jews who owned the homes, the apartments in the black community, we considered them bloodsuckers because they took from our community and built their community but didn't offer anything back to our community."

"The same year they set up the IRS, they set up the FBI. And the same year they set up the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith… It could be a coincidence… [I want] to see black intellectuals free… I want to see them not controlled by members of the Jewish community."

"...America desires a moderate Islam; an Islam that America can control; an Islam that America can give direction to and give orders to its leaders. So, this war is against the Islam that the West does not control."

"The Jews don't like Farrakhan, so they call me Hitler. Well, that's a good name. Hitler was a very great man."

"It appears that there is a genocidal plan against Black people."

"Dewey, Kant and Hegel, and the rabbis that wrote the Talmud, make blacks inferior."

"Murder and lying comes easy for white people."

"I believe that for the small numbers of Jewish people in the United States, they exercise a tremendous amount of influence on the affairs of government ...Yes, they exercise extraordinary control, and black people will never be free in this country until they are free of that kind of control ... "
--Meet The Press interview, April 1997

"Qaddafi is hated because he is the leader of a small country that is rich, but he uses his money to finance liberation struggles."

"The white man is our mortal enemy, and we cannot accept him. I will fight to see that vicious beast go down into the late of fire prepared for him from the beginning, that he never rise again to give any innocent black man, woman or child the hell that he has delighted in pouring on us for 400 years."
-- Louis Farrakhan, City College audience in New York

"I recognized that the black man will never be free until we address the relationship between blacks and Jews."

"America will always side with those whom she can direct, give orders to and have those orders obeyed."

"Countless times over the years I have explained that I never referred to Judaism as a dirty religion, but, clearly referred to the machinations of those who hide behind the shield of Judaism while using unjust political means to achieve their objectives."

This was distilled in the New York tabloids and other media saying, "Farrakhan calls Judaism a gutter religion." As a Muslim, I revere Abraham, Moses, and all the Prophets who Allah (God) sent to the children of Israel. I believe in the scriptures brought by these Prophets and the Laws of Allah (God) as expressed in the Torah. I would never refer to the Revealed Word of Allah (God) -- the basis of Jewish Faith -- as "dirty" or "gutter."

--Letter to the Wall Street Journal June 18, 1997

"These false Jews promote the filth of Hollywood. It's the wicked Jews, the false Jews that are promoting lesbianism, homosexuality, [and] Zionists have manipulated Bush and the American government [on the war in Iraq]"
--February 2006 NOI event

"History is not what you thought. It is what you can remember. All other history defeats itself."

The reader can decide.
