Kissing Mullahs: Return of the Red Hot Lip Lockers

[NOTE: This was originally posted on November 7 2007, but we saw it and thought, "Hey! You can never have enough reminders that Islam is the Religion of Love or Peace or whatever.]

The Left's always maintained that Ahmadinejad has a tender side. Who knew?

Saw this over on Gateway Pundit and it caused some rethinking: Might Islam, after all is said and done, really be the religion of love?

From the same great country that brought you homosexual execution.

You can't spell "fatwa" or "NAMBLA" without the two "A"'s.

Putin and Iranian Nuke Plans:

"Peaceful"

Ahmadinejad rolls out red carpet for Putin
[photo:CNN]

by Mondoreb

Russian President Vladimir Putin continued a Russian foreign policy based on "what's bad for the United States is good for Russia". He was in Tehran for a five-country conference on nuclear power.

From CNN:
{H}e and the other leaders agreed that "peaceful nuclear activities must be allowed" in the region. Commenting on Iran's controversial nuclear program, Putin said the "Iranians are cooperating with Russian nuclear agencies and the main objectives are peaceful objectives."

Russia is building Iran's first nuclear power plant and has resisted the push by the U.S. and its allies for stronger U.N. sanctions against Tehran.

The leaders of Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan met Tuesday to reach agreement on issues relating to the sharing and regulating of the Caspian Sea.
News accounts of a few months ago spoke of Russian reluctance to complete the Iranian nuclear reactor, but Putin's words have eased fears. With Russia's battling Muslims in Chechnya, Putin has Russia playing a risky game. Iranian nukes could find their way into Chechnyan hands more quickly than terrorists attempting infiltration into the U.S.

If Iran obtains nuclear capability, there may be a race among terrorists to see where the second mushroom cloud (after Israel) appears.

Our Man Mahmoud: Ten Ahmadinejad Quotes to Watch a Coming Holocaust By

"Israel must be wiped off the map"
by Mondoreb & Little Baby Ginn

Everybody's favorite madman, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad certainly has his fans in the West. A look at The DailyKOS, The Huffington Post or practically any MSNBC show will reveal a soft spot in the heart of the drooling Left for the nuclear annihilation poster child.

Any comment about the lovable Holocaust denier is met by their blanket retort: "Bush is Evil!" Oh, sorry. Wrong retort. Okay...their blanket retort: "The U.S. is worse...or Evil...or something!"

That's better.

Next time a gang member with a "HuffPo" tatoo starts telling you how harmless Ahmadinejad would be if only the U.S. used pogo sticks instead of cars and didn't need oil and it's all about oil and we're fighting for oil and anyway Bush is Evil and so Ahmadinejad wouldn't be pissed if we weren't in Iraq and he's never taken a hostage honest and...

Hand him these 10 Ahmadinejad quotes. There's 20 more compiled by Libby Purves at The Times Online.
1. "Israel must be wiped off the map … The establishment of a Zionist regime was a move by the world oppressor against the Islamic world . . . The skirmishes in the occupied land are part of the war of destiny. The outcome of hundreds of years of war will be defined in Palestinian land."
October 26, 2005
(In an address to 4,000 students at a program titled, 'The World Without Zionism')

NB The translation of this quote is debated and has also been read as "Israel must disappear from the page of history"

2. "The Zionist regime is an injustice and by its very nature a permanent threat. Whether you like it or not, the Zionist regime is heading toward annihilation. The Zionist regime is a rotten, dried tree that will be eliminated by one storm."
April 14, 2006
(In a speech at the opening of the "Support for the Palestinian Intifada" conference on April 14-16 hosted in Tehran)

3. "Today, they [Europeans] have created a myth in the name of Holocaust and consider it to be above God, religion and the prophets … This is our proposal: give a part of your own land in Europe, the United States, Canada or Alaska to them [Jews] so that the Jews can establish their country."
December 14, 2005
(Speaking to thousands of people in the Iranian city of Zahedan)

4. "The Zionist regime is the flag bearer of violation and occupation and this regime is the flag of Satan. …It is not unlikely that this regime be on the path to dissolution and deterioration when the philosophy behind its creation and survival is invalid."
August 18, 2007
(Address to an international religious conference in Tehran)

5. "A new Middle East will prevail without the existence of Israel."
August 4, 2006
(as quoted by Malaysian news agency Bernama website)

6. "In parallel to the official political war there is a hidden war going on and the Islamic states should benefit from their economic potential to cut off the hands of the enemies."

7. "Some European countries insist on saying that Hitler killed millions of innocent Jews in furnaces.... Although we don't accept this claim, if we suppose it is true, our question for the Europeans is: Is the killing of innocent Jewish people by Hitler the reason for their support to the occupiers of Jerusalem? If the Europeans are honest they should give some of their provinces in Europe -- like in Germany, Austria or other countries -- to the Zionists and the Zionists can establish their state in Europe."
December 8, 2005
(While speaking to journalists at an Islamic summit in Mecca)

8. "The Zionists are the true manifestation of Satan . . . Many Western governments that claim to be pioneers of democracy and standard bearers of human rights close their eyes over crimes committed by the Zionists and by remaining silent support the Zionists due to their hedonistic and materialistic tendencies."
February 28, 2007
(to a meeting of Sudanese Islamic scholars in Khartoum)

9. "Thanks to people's wishes and God's will the trend for the existence of the Zionist regime is downwards and this is what God has promised and what all nations want…Just as the Soviet Union was wiped out and today does not exist, so will the Zionist regime soon be wiped out"
December 12, 2006
(Comments to Iran's Holocaust Conference)

10. "Though the enemy had made preparations for not allowing Iran (president) to make his voice heard, but, they could not succeed and thanks to grace of God the world people heard our voice."
September 30, 2007

The best of the rest include this gem, at #23: "We don't shy away from declaring that Islam is ready to rule the world." Just another case of 'would-be nuclear bombers say the darnest things!' Just another Lefty Sweetheart, misunderstood and attacked by knuckle-dragging conservatives. The Amalgamated Apoplectic Apologists for Ahmadinejad are right when they say Mahmoud is misunderstood.

They don't have a clue.

PAPERCUTS EXCLUSIVE!:

Bill Richardson: "I Will Not Live in Fear"
BUSH JUST AS BAD AHMADINEJAD

by Mondoreb

Democrat Presidential candidate Bill Richardson has a message for the people he's appealing to: American President George Bush is no better than Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Richardson is seemingly reaching out to the crew at TheDailyKOS.

An online poll conducted this week at the "new center of the Democratic Party"'s website was revealing: In an election matchup between Bush and Ahmadinejad, Bush narrowly squeaked out a 52-45% win. Little Green Footballs captured a screen shot of the poll. The Left's favorite response to any discovery of how they really think is "Satire!" No on remembered it this time.

This did not go undetected by Democrats. The following is a letter sent out by Richardson's campaign this morning.

Dear (my name),

Yesterday, the Presidents of Iran and of the United States both addressed the United Nations.

In his speech, Iran's President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, confirmed what we already knew: he is a demagogue and a despot.

And in his own speech, our President, George W. Bush, confirmed something else we already knew: he is a fearmonger, whose unwillingness to use diplomacy to confront our enemies has made America less safe.

Just like before their reckless invasion of Iraq, President Bush and Vice President Cheney have been rattling sabers about Iran's nuclear program and about how all options are on the table in regard to military force. It's "axis of evil" all over again!

This kind of rhetoric does not help America's strategic interests or improve the stability of that troubled region.
The letter then makes an appeal for a $50 donation.

Like a Christmas present, the morning mail many times brings surprises. Some cause delight and some cause one to roll their eyes. The letter in question causes one to close thier eyes, pondering the curious position of the Democrat Party on foreign affairs. By kowtowing to the unhinged few who blog among them, Democrats are forcing a debate next year in which are they are taking an unsettling position. According to this letter, that position seems to be:
George Bush is no better than a man who has vowed to destroy the United States.

Bollinger's Remarks

QUESTIONS THE LEFT WON'T ASK
OF MAHMOUD AHMADINEJAD

[Photo:Coordination Forum for Countering Anti-Semitism]
by Mondoreb

When Columbia University extended an invitation to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, he came under heavy criticism by many on the Right. Harsh words and numerous charges were flung at Columbia President, Lee Bollinger. "Inappropriate" was one commonly used word.

Bollinger bravely stood his ground.

Resisting calls to cancel the speech, Mr. Bollinger stood up for the concept of unpopular but free speech. He was applauded by a few civil libertarians, anti-war groups and a handful of liberal pundits.

Now, the other shoe falls for Bollinger. In his introductory remarks before Ahmadinejad's speech, the president of Columbia posed a series of hard, tough questions to the would-be Hand of the Apocalypse. As if by magic, his critics on the Right largely disappeared. These were many of the same questions that they would have asked if given the chance. The flip side to that: howls of protest from the now-aroused Left. Mr. Bollinger, who had given Ahmadinejad his forum, evidently had no right to ask anything but softball inquiries.

Ahmadinejad responded as he usually does: with a mixture of evasions, lies, half-truths, 'believe-it-or-not' declamations and changing the subject. When he ran out of those, he turned to outright denial. But, unlike his opponents back home in Iran, Mr. Ahmadinejad got to have his say--in front of an audience, on TV and and in front of a battery of news reporters. When he was finished, Ahmadinejad was able to walk out of Columbia and leave.

He wasn't detained, handcuffed, taken to some unknown location, blindfolded, questioned, tortured or shot in the back of the head. Appealing as many of these options may be to some, he was free to go about his business. Again, unlike his opponents back home in Iran. Unlike uppity women, homosexuals, or those who watch banned TV cable channels in Tehran.

The whole Ahmadinejad affair is now finished. At the end of it all, Bollinger can be proud that he stood his ground and didn't cancel the appearance by the Iranian Madman. He has nothing to be ashamed of; nothing for which to apologize.

On Monday, Mr. Bollinger asked the hard questions. Now, it's time for many on the Left to ask some questions of their own. Of themselves. Leading off they might examine Ahmadinejad's answers and wonder, "Who would support such an obviously disturbed man"?

Like Lee Bollinger, it's time for liberals to starting asking some hard questions of their own.

Full Text of Bollinger's Remarks: QUESTIONS

[by Mondoreb]
By Lee Bollinger
via the New York Times

Before Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gave his speech at Columbia University Monday, he was introduced by Columbia President, Lee Bollinger. Bollinger, who came under fire, before the speech for being to "soft"(by many on the Right), now is hearing criticism from the Left: this time for being to "harsh" on Ahmadinejad. Here is the text of his remarks.

Sept. 24, 2007 | NEW YORK -- I would like to begin by thanking dean John Coatsworth and professor Richard Bulliet for their work in organizing this event and for their commitment to the role of the School of International and Public Affairs and its role in training future leaders in world affairs. If today proves anything it will be that there is an enormous amount of work ahead for all of us. This is just one of many events on Iran that will run throughout this academic year, all to help us better understand this critical and complex nation in today's geopolitics.

Before speaking directly to the current president of Iran, I have a few critically important points to emphasize.

First, since 2003, the World Leaders Forum has advanced Columbia's long-standing tradition of serving as a major forum for robust debate, especially on global issues. It should never be thought that merely to listen to ideas we deplore in any way implies our endorsement of those ideas, or the weakness of our resolve to resist those ideas or our naiveté about the very real dangers inherent in such ideas. It is a critical premise of freedom of speech that we do not honor the dishonorable when we open the public forum to their voices. To hold otherwise would make vigorous debate impossible.

Second, to those who believe that this event never should have happened, that it is inappropriate for the university to conduct such an event, I want to say that I understand your perspective and respect it as reasonable. The scope of free speech and academic freedom should itself always be open to further debate. As one of the more famous quotations about free speech goes, it is "an experiment, as all life is an experiment." I want to say, however, as forcefully as I can, that this is the right thing to do and, indeed, it is required by existing norms of free speech, the American university and Columbia itself.

Third, to those among us who experience hurt and pain as a result of this day, I say on behalf of all of us we are sorry and wish to do what we can to alleviate it.

Fourth, to be clear on another matter -- this event has nothing whatsoever to do with any "rights" of the speaker but only with our rights to listen and speak. We do it for ourselves.

We do it in the great tradition of openness that has defined this nation for many decades now. We need to understand the world we live in, neither neglecting its glories nor shrinking from its threats and dangers. It is consistent with the idea that one should know thine enemies, to have the intellectual and emotional courage to confront the mind of evil and to prepare ourselves to act with the right temperament. In the moment, the arguments for free speech will never seem to match the power of the arguments against, but what we must remember is that this is precisely because free speech asks us to exercise extraordinary self-restraint against the very natural but often counterproductive impulses that lead us to retreat from engagement with ideas we dislike and fear. In this lies the genius of the American idea of free speech.

Lastly, in universities, we have a deep and almost single-minded commitment to pursue the truth. We do not have access to the levers of power. We cannot make war or peace. We can only make minds. And to do this we must have the most full freedom of inquiry.

Let me now turn to Mr. Ahmadinejad.

THE BRUTAL CRACKDOWN ON SCHOLARS, JOURNALISTS AND HUMAN RIGHTS ADVOCATES

Over the last two weeks, your government has released Dr. Haleh Esfandiari and Parnaz Axima; and just two days ago Kian Tajbakhsh, a graduate of Columbia with a Ph.D. in urban planning. While our community is relieved to learn of his release on bail, Dr. Tajbakhsh remains in Teheran, under house arrest, and he still does not know whether he will be charged with a crime or allowed to leave the country. Let me say this for the record, I call on the president today to ensure that Kian Tajbaksh will be free to travel out of Iran as he wishes. Let me also report today that we are extending an offer to Dr. Tajbaksh to join our faculty as a visiting professor in urban planning here at his alma mater, in our Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. And we hope he will be able to join us next semester.

The arrest and imprisonment of these Iranian Americans for no good reason is not only unjustified, it runs completely counter to the very values that allow today's speaker to even appear on this campus.

But at least they are alive.

According to Amnesty International, 210 people have been executed in Iran so far this year -- 21 of them on the morning of Sept. 5 alone. This annual total includes at least two children -- further proof, as Human Rights Watch puts it, that Iran leads the world in executing minors.

There is more.

Iran hanged up to 30 people this past July and August during a widely reported suppression of efforts to establish a more open, democratic society in Iran. Many of these executions were carried out in public view, a violation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, to which Iran is a party.

These executions and others have coincided with a wider crackdown on student activists and academics accused of trying to foment a so-called "soft revolution." This has included jailing and forced retirements of scholars. As Dr. Esfandiari said in a broadcast interview since her release, she was held in solitary confinement for 105 days because the government "believes that the United States ... is planning a Velvet Revolution" in Iran.

In this very room last year we learned something about Velvet Revolutions from Vaclav Havel. And we will likely hear the same from our World Leaders Forum speaker this evening -- President Michelle Bachelet Jeria of Chile. Both of their extraordinary stories remind us that there are not enough prisons to prevent an entire society that wants its freedom from achieving it.

We at this university have not been shy to protest and challenge the failures of our own government to live by these values; and we won't be shy in criticizing yours.

Let's, then, be clear at the beginning, Mr. President, you exhibit all the signs of a petty and cruel dictator.

And so I ask you:
Why have women, members of the Baha'i faith, homosexuals and so many of our academic colleagues become targets of persecution in your country?

Why in a letter last week to the secretary general of the U.N. did Akbar Gangi, Iran's leading political dissident, and over 300 public intellectuals, writers and Nobel Laureates express such grave concern that your inflamed dispute with the West is distracting the world's attention from the intolerable conditions your regime has created within Iran? In particular, the use of the Press Law to ban writers for criticizing the ruling system.

Why are you so afraid of Iranian citizens expressing their opinions for change?

In our country, you are interviewed by our press and asked to speak here today. And while my colleague at the Law School Michael Dorf spoke to Radio Free Europe [sic, Voice of America] viewers in Iran a short while ago on the tenets of freedom of speech in this country, I propose going further than that. Let me lead a delegation of students and faculty from Columbia to address your university about free speech, with the same freedom we afford you today? Will you do that?

THE DENIAL OF THE HOLOCAUST

In a December 2005 state television broadcast, you described the Holocaust as a "fabricated" "legend." One year later, you held a two-day conference of Holocaust deniers.

For the illiterate and ignorant, this is dangerous propaganda. When you come to a place like this, this makes you, quite simply, ridiculous. You are either brazenly provocative or astonishingly uneducated.

You should know that Columbia is a world center of Jewish studies and now, in partnership with the YIVO Institute, of Holocaust studies. Since the 1930s, we've provided an intellectual home for countless Holocaust refugees and survivors and their children and grandchildren. The truth is that the Holocaust is the most documented event in human history. Because of this, and for many other reasons, your absurd comments about the "debate" over the Holocaust both defy historical truth and make all of us who continue to fear humanity's capacity for evil shudder at this closure of memory, which is always virtue's first line of defense.

Will you cease this outrage?

THE DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL

Twelve days ago, you said that the state of Israel "cannot continue its life." This echoed a number of inflammatory statements you have delivered in the last two years, including in October 2005 when you said that Israel should be "wiped off the map."

Columbia has over 800 alumni currently living in Israel. As an institution we have deep ties with our colleagues there. I personally have spoken out in the most forceful terms against proposals to boycott Israeli scholars and universities, saying that such boycotts might as well include Columbia. More than 400 college and university presidents in this country have joined in that statement. My question, then, is: Do you plan on wiping us off the map, too?

FUNDING TERRORISM

According to reports by the Council on Foreign Relations, it's well documented that Iran is a state sponsor of terror that funds such violent groups as the Lebanese Hezbollah, which Iran helped organize in the 1980s, the Palestinian Hamas, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

While your predecessor government was instrumental in providing the U.S. with intelligence and base support in its 2001 campaign against the Taliban in Afghanistan, your government is now undermining American troops in Iraq by funding, arming and providing safe transit to insurgent leaders like Muqtada al-Sadr and his forces.

There are a number of reports that also link your government with Syria's efforts to destabalize the fledgling Lebanese government through violence and political assassination.

My question is this: Why do you support well-documented terrorist organizations that continue to strike at peace and democracy in the Middle East, destroying lives and civil society in the region?

PROXY WAR AGAINST U.S. TROOPS IN IRAQ

In a briefing before the National Press Club earlier this month, General David Petraeus reported that arms supplies from Iran, including 240 mm rockets and explosively formed projectiles, are contributing to "a sophistication of attacks that would by no means be possible without Iranian support."

A number of Columbia graduates and current students are among the brave members of our military who are serving or have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. They, like other Americans with sons, daughters, fathers, husbands and wives serving in combat, rightly see your government as the enemy.

Can you tell them and us why Iran is fighting a proxy war in Iraq by arming Shi'a militia targeting and killing U.S. troops?

FINALLY, IRAN'S NUCLEAR PROGRAM AND INTERNATIONAL SANCTIONS

This week the United Nations Security Council is contemplating expanding sanctions for a third time because of your government's refusal to suspend its uranium-enrichment program. You continue to defy this world body by claiming a right to develop peaceful nuclear power, but this hardly withstands scrutiny when you continue to issue military threats to neighbors. Last week, French President Sarkozy made clear his lost patience with your stall tactics; and even Russia and China have shown concern.

Why does your country continue to refuse to adhere to international standards for nuclear weapons verification in defiance of agreements that you have made with the U.N. nuclear agency? And why have you chosen to make the people of your country vulnerable to the effects of international economic sanctions and threaten to engulf the world with nuclear annihilation?

Let me close with this comment. Frankly, and in all candor, Mr. President, I doubt that you will have the intellectual courage to answer these questions. But your avoiding them will in itself be meaningful to us. I do expect you to exhibit the fanatical mind-set that characterizes so much of what you say and do. Fortunately, I am told by experts on your country, that this only further undermines your position in Iran with all the many goodhearted, intelligent citizens there. A year ago, I am reliably told, your preposterous and belligerent statements in this country (as in your meeting at the Council on Foreign Relations) so embarrassed sensible Iranian citizens that this led to your party's defeat in the December mayoral elections. May this do that and more.

I am only a professor, who is also a university president, and today I feel all the weight of the modern civilized world yearning to express the revulsion at what you stand for. I only wish I could do better.

FOLLOW-UP: Ahmadinjad at the UN

COUNTDOWN TO THE APOCALYPSE:
'BRUTAL ZIONIST REGIME' TO END

by Mondoreb & Little Baby Ginn
FOLLOW-UP to the LIVE REPORT

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad certainly didn't leave his fans disappointed. The Iranian madman lived up to his nickname, dishing out "red meat" rhetoric to Radical Muslims, Congressional Democrats and anti-war peace activists. Ahmadinejihad then went after Israel, calling them a “brutal Zionist Regime,” claiming they have been terrorists and occupiers of Palestine for over sixty years.

He further claimed that the Israelis have been kidnapping Palestinian “scientists,” taking them off to secret prisons. Echoing the Nancy Pelosi Democrats, he ranted about illegal wiretaps, intercepting mail, and that the Israelis were entering Palestinian homes and murdering them in their sleep.

The most interesting parts of his speech had to do with his messianic vision of what the future holds for Iran, Israel, the United States and the world. Weaving a tale of the twelveth Imam, the Mahdi, and repeatedly referring to "Monotheism", he told the UN what he had previously stated at the conference below.

(MEMRI)
-- In his speech at the annual International Seminar on the Doctrine of Mahdism, held in Tehran August 25-26, 2007, Ahmadinejad stated that Western dominance has come to an end, and called on the nations of the world to rebel against "the oppressive imperialist powers" in preparation for the coming of the Hidden Imam:
"The Hidden Imam is heir to everything that has been good and beautiful throughout history, and the call [to await his coming] is a call [to have faith] in the missions of the divine prophets, in monotheism, and in justice... In these days, humanity longs for monotheism and justice. With God's grace, the [preparations] for a flood of compassion, truth and justice will soon rule.
And more of the same.
On August 29, 2007, Ahmadinejad said, "The Iranian nation and the Islamic Revolution have a pivotal role in preparing the ground for the coming of the Hidden Imam... We must rapidly develop Iran in order to create the [right] conditions for his coming, and we must also help the rest of the world's nations [to prepare for his return], in order to precipitate this great event..." [4]
The responsibility that currently rests on Iran's [shoulders] is very heavy; it is the kind of mission [with which] the divine prophets [were entrusted]. It does not permit us to rest or slumber even for a moment. Have you ever seen a prophet take a rest from the fulfillment of his mission?..."
Does Ahmadinejad believe himself to be the facilitator of the Apocalypse? Going against the grain, a James Dean-like "Prophet Without a Clue"--only with nuclear missiles? He's made no secret of what he plans to do with nuclear weapons once he obtains them. Nuclear annihilation for Israel and suitcase nukes for the United States and any other country that gets in way of his vision.

More:
From MadhiWatch.org
al-Mahdi is "the rightly-guided one" who, according to Islamic Hadiths (traditions), will come before the end of time to make the entire world Muslim. Over the last 1400 years numerous claimants to the mantle of the Mahdi have arisen, and belief in the coming of the Mahdi is increasing today, as evidenced by the such overt examples as January 2007's Mahdist violence in Iraq and the frequently-expressed public pronouncements of Iran's leader Ahmadinezhad, as well as more covert examples such as the whispered claims that Usamah bin Ladin might be the Mahdi. This site will track such Mahdi-related claims, aspirations, propaganda and beliefs in the both the Sunni and Shi`i parts of the Islamic world, as well as other eschatological yearnings in a Muslim context.
Ahmadinejad had not been crafty or sly. He has shown his cards to the world. More on his speech.
Early in his address to the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad repeated and elaborated on the charges he had levelled at Columbia University on Monday against Israel - which he called "the illegal Zionist regime." He told the assembled world leaders that the people of Palestine had been punished for 60 years for what had happened in Europe. They had been held "under occupation of the illegal Zionist regime," he said. "The Palestinian people have been displaced," he went on, "incarcerated under abhorrent conditions." They were being deprived of water and medicine "for the sin of asking for freedom."

Ahmadinejad accused Israel of terrorism and castigated "the brutal Zionists" for carrying out targeted assassinations. (From the Jerusalem Post.
In his mind, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the Prosecutor for the Defense of the Caliphate. On Tuesday, he slowly and methodically presented his case to his jury, the UN and the world. He was not hurried as he laid out his case was for the destruction of the Jewish people and of Israel.

In Mahmoud's mind, he's already tried this case hundreds, maybe thousands, of times, and the verdict is always the same: GUILTY. The punishment is always the same: nuclear oblivion. And to any that survive the Mad Iranian Hanging Judge, their punishment: Thirty Days in the Electric Chair.

WHY THERE ARE NO GAYS IN IRAN

These photos graphically show why there "are no homosexuals in Iran".

At LGF: Leftard Poll Results
Undercover Lizard Uncovers KOSpit!

45% WOULD VOTE FOR AHMADINEJAD! Mad Iranian Feels Out Clinton for VP!

[pictured above: Undercover Lizard, Kilgore Trout, reports back to diabolical Half-Crazed LGF Lizardoid Honcho, Charles Johnson.]
by Mondoreb

Dazed but unfazed, undercover Lizardoid, Killgore Trout reported back to Little Green Footballs with shocking Leftard poll results. 45% of the DailyKOS denizens would vote for former Iranian hostage-taker, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, for U.S. President.
A Daily Kos diarist has put up a poll asking the question, Daily Kos: Who would you rather have lead, Bush or Ahmadinejad?

Bush is actually ahead. But not by much.
The Hillary Clinton campaign immediately denied rumors that Ahmadinejad had been leading the beleaguered Bush before HRC operatives had rigged the voting.

Ahmadinejad at Columbia: WHEN THE LEFT DOESN'T LISTEN

by Little Baby Ginn

After reading the following post at The Huffington Post, Death by 1000 Papercuts' Little Baby Ginn penned the response below.

Azadeh:

From your post:
I would like to address some of the points that you’ve made about Ahmadinejad’s trip to the UN and to Columbia.
“Reactions to Columbia University's decision to invite him have been mixed, and right in line with expectations”
By “expectations” I assume you “expected” some reactions to Ahmad’s visits to automatically occur:

McCain, Giuliani and groups including The Anti-Defamation League have come out swinging against the Columbia-Ahmadinejad coupling, armed with terms like "Holocaust denier," "Persian Hitler" and "state sponsor of terrorism."

You infer by this statement that McCain, The Anti-Defamation League, Guiliani, and “others” are erroneous in claiming that Iran and/or Ahmadinejad are “Holocaust Deniers.” I would like to cite a report from the United Nations Human Rights Council on June 18, 2007, on Iran racial discrimination. In this report the UN cited three acts of anti-Semiticism by Iran:

1. Convening an international conference “questioning the truth of
Of the extermination of the European Jews by Nazi Germany

2. Organizing an earlier Holocaust denial cartoon contest

3. President Ahmadinejad’s repeated calls for Israel to be “wiped off the map.”

The week prior Secretary-General Ban condemned the Iranian leader for his latest statement inciting to “destruction of the Zionist regime.”

It was further noted that Ahmadinejad continued to violate the Genocide Convention’s Article 3 prohibition against incitement to destroy a national group.

In summary, Ms. Ensha, Mr. Ahmadinehad’s forming international conferences to question the truth of the extermination of European Jews by Hitler, his organization of a state sponsored Holocaust denial cartoon contest, his continued vocalizations of his quest to wipe Israel from the map, to destroy all Jews, is not merely the vague “terms’ that you mentioned above.

You also address Columbia and the “dangers” of “curtailing Free Speech.” I agree wholeheartedly with you. Free Speech is essential and must survive in order for us to survive. Because of Free Speech you were able to post your thoughts and opinions, as I am able to respond to yours, as are McCain, Guiliani, the Anti-Semitic League and “others.” They too can raise their voices against Ahmadinejad and what they believe this person to be and to represent.

And finally your last point:
“While all eyes are on Manhattan, precious few are watching what's happening in Washington. On Thursday, Senators Jon Kyl and Joseph Lieberman filed an amendment to the 2008 Defense Authorization Bill that would make it official U.S. policy to "combat, contain and roll back" Iran and its surrogates in Iraq. Section 5 calls for the United States to formally designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization. If passed, this amendment would open the door even wider for military action against Iran.”

I would like to cite a couple of “terrorist” sponsoring incidents of late by Iran. Just from these two links alone it is not a stretch to conclude that Iran has not only it's fingers but is up to its armpits in sponsoring terrorism.
New evidence on exporting of Iranian arms to Syria
Tuesday, 05 June 2007
NCRI - On Friday June 1st, Turkish newspaper, Hurieat revealed new detailed evidence about the weapons discovered in a Syria-bound train from Iran. The paper published documents on the train’s cargo, the names of sender and receiver of the weapons, announcements by Turkish Rail officials and Turkish military

Document: Iran Caught Red-Handed Shipping Arms to Taliban

Friday, 08 June 2007
†ABCNews- NATO officials say they have caught Iran red-handed, shipping heavy arms, C4 explosives and advanced roadside bombs to the Taliban for use against NATO forces, in what the officials say is a dramatic escalation of Iran's proxy war against the United States and Great Britain.

"It is inconceivable that it is anyone other than the Iranian government that's doing it," said former White House counterterrorism official Richard Clarke, an ABC News consultant.
Iran
Your article is titled, “Why The Right Is Wrong.” What are they, the Right, wrong about? The rampant Anti-Semitism of Ahmahdinejad? His ongoing quest to make revisionist history of the Holocaust and claim it was kinder and gentler Nazi Germany? That Iran wasn’t caught arming the Taliban in Afghanistan, al-Qaeda
in Iraq, sending arms to Syria, trains and funds Hezbollah in Lebanon?

As for Giuliani, it was his city, his beloved New York, that terrorists descended on that beautiful early fall day in September, 2001. If Mr. Giuliani is appalled by Columbia rolling out the red carpet to the likes of Ahmadinejad I can sympathize. For this man to attempt to lay a wreath at the site of where over 3,000 innocents were massacred, men, women, children… the hundreds of New York’s finest who rushed to try to save them… I can see why Giuliani spoke out; after all, he exercised his right to his very “Free Speech.” Just as you did in your article.
And just as I am in this rebuttal.

Arrested In NYC for
Impersonating A Snake in the Grass

PROTESTS IN NYC--
MORNING AHMADINEJAD ROUND-UP

by Mondoreb
Here's a heapin' helpin' of Ahmadinejad in the Morning for you.

The first item from CTVNews:
Despite raising a controversy in the United States over plans to visit the site of the former World Trade Center, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says he still hopes to visit "Ground Zero.

The first item naturally leads to the Second item from AFP:
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was to face angry protests Sunday in New York, where he was due to arrive amid a storm of controversy over his appearances at the United Nations and a top university.

The outspoken Iranian leader, who has openly called for the destruction of Israel and questioned the scale of the Holocaust, is due to speak at Columbia University on Monday, a day before addressing the UN General Assembly.

Finally, if you've already had breakfast, here's a little item. I mention it under the assumption that some people can't get enough warm, fuzzy disco biscuits from Jewish lesbians concerning foreign thugs. The answering comments come from a swarm of lizards at Little Green Footballs.

One wonders if Mahmoud, while in town, won't audition for the part of OPIE in Mayberry Redeax. After reading the above stories, I know the question on everybody's mind is the same as mine:
Where's NAMBLA and all those colorful Gay & Lesbian protest marchers when you need them?

Step Away from the Islamic Republic
IRAN ISSUES 'STERN WARNING'

"I'm Not Kidding!
You'll Be Sorry! Really!"

by Mondoreb

Iran issued the latest in its seemingly-endless string of warnings this morning. The freshest warning has a whiff of the others: Don't mess with us!' Likening Iranian forces to his country's burgeoning nuclear program, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said both were for 'peaceful purposes'.
From the BBC this morning:
Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has issued a tough warning to any country considering an attack on Iran.
He said Iran's forces were just for defence, but that anybody who attacked would experience nothing but regret.
In a direct rebuke to American peaceniks, Congressional Democrats and EuroGoofs everywhere, Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, bragged that sanctions wouldn't work, so don't even try.
"Those [countries] who assume that decaying methods such as psychological war, political propaganda and the so-called economic sanctions would work and prevent Iran's fast drive toward progress are mistaken," the president said.
And of course, when Iranian military officials are captured transporting explosives into Iraq,as happened a few days ago, they are also there for "peaceful purposes". Leftists are distressed about those Americans "beating the drums for war with Iran."

Forget the drums. It's time to start beating on the Islamic Republic itself.

A MODERN LOVE STORY:
AHMADINEJAD AND TIME -Baby, You Know I Don't Like it When You Talk All Crazy Like That

by Mondoreb

It's the autumn in Tehran, the leaves are falling and the thoughts of MSM journalists turn to visions: walking along with a bright-eyed Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, hand-in-hand, hair sparkling from misty rain, heads thrown back in laughter and young love.
That's the image one got from yesterday's Time magazine piece by Tony Karon, 'Why the Tough Talk on Iran?" In it, Karon coyly blows kisses at Ahmadinejad, while demanding to know why France has suddenly cooled on the Islamic Republic. Of course, the culprit in this good-love-turns-bad tale is George W. Bush.
The governments of Iraq and Afghanistan have warm, cooperative ties with Tehran, while Russia continues to work on Irans nuclear program and resists Western efforts to ratchet up U.N. pressure. In fact, the only one of Iran's neighbors for whom it may be true, as the French PM suggests, that tensions have reached "an extreme point," is the United States — a neighbor by virtue of its presence in Iraq.
In an incredible three-fer, Karon vindicates Sadaam, slyly slips in a reference to the Left's fantasies about how many Iraqis died in the conflict AND manages to sound put off--all in two sentences.
But, having been vindicated in his prewar claim that Saddam had no nuclear weapons program, [IAEA chief Dr. Mohammed] ElBaradei is unlikely to back off. "I would hope that everybody would have gotten the lesson after the Iraq situation, where 700,000 innocent civilians have lost their lives on the suspicion that a country has nuclear weapons," he said in response to earlier criticism.
It all comes down to France, who is waking up to the dangers a nuclear-armed Iran poses to its interests. One can almost hear the sputtering, "But, but, this is so--unFrench-like!" Time sounds frantic here. The U.S. may be thinking of taking action? Of protecting their interests? Of rallying other countries to their side? Even the French?

By the end of this article, expectations rise that Karon turns to Mahmoud, looks him in the eye, and whispers "You're incorrigible!"

TO AHMADINEJAD:
YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT

But Don't Piss Off Homer!

Graphics by RidesAPaleHorse
Invective by mondoreb

Ahmadinejad took hostages, sends death in the form of IEDs to U.S. fighting men and women, and hopes to prance around New York City to the cheers of the Leftards. The NYPD won't protect him, the Secret Service might have to, and the protests are being planned as we read.

BUT there is ONE American Icon that the 'Mad Iranian' would do well to heed: HOMER SIMPSON FOR THE DEFENSE! From out of the West,RidesAPaleHorse weighs in with hard words for a hardass.

So, Ahmadinejad, heed my words well: Put a blindfold on it, put it in your pipe and smoke THAT!
