Electoral College Scandal:
At Least One California Elector is Dead

The Will of the Dead People

Dead people are voting in the Electoral College? What's up with that?

From Electoral College scam: Where dead people vote; Lawyer challenging eligibility seeks investigation of process

According to Gary Kreep, executive director of the United States Justice Foundation, the clerks have been advised about the "irregularity" in the list of electors provided by the Democratic Partyin California.

"In the 28th Congressional District (Congressman Howard Berman), situated in Los Angeles County, Ilene Huber is listed as the presidential elector designated in that district. However, as shown in the attached certified statement of Dean C. Logan, registrar-recorder/county clerk of the county of Los Angeles, state of California, there is no Ilene Huber listed as a registered voter in the County of Los Angeles. A statewide search of public records has revealed only one Ilene Huber in the state of California, and she is deceased-a copy of her certificate of death is attached hereto as well," the advisory said.

"Further, according to Chris Myers, director of research for the California Democratic Party, who submitted the list of presidential electors for the Democratic Party to the office of the California secretary of state
, there are additional, undisclosed, 'errors' in the list of electors. This admission was made in a telephone conversation with a representative of the American Independent Party on or about November 20, 2008," the letter continued.

USJF is also a plaintiff in the suit filed by presidential candidate, Alan Keyes ['Constitutional crisis' looming over Obama's birth location]

According to WND, "The California action was filed on behalf of Keyes, as well as Wiley S. Drake and Markham Robinson, both California electors."

What about the Certificate of Live Birth which has been offered as "proof" that Obama is a U.S. citizen?

"In Hawaii, a Certification of Live Birth is issued within a year of a child's birth to those who register a birth abroad or one that takes place outside a hospital," stated WND's Janet Porter. [Rathergate II: Certification of Live Birth a clear forgery]

The questions--and lawsuits continue.

Meanwhile, at least one California elector appears to be oblivious to it all.

George Carlin: Dead at 71

George Carlin, of the "seven words you can't say on television" fame, died of heart failure Sunday. Carlin was admitted to St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica and died shortly before 6 pm, according to reports.

Carlin had a history of heart problems and was admitted after complaining of chest pains. He was 71.

He earned five Emmy nominations, as well as several gold records.

The comedian, who toured college campuses for years and made a name for himself using dirty language and delivering biting social commentaries, had released 22 solo albums and three bestselling books.

He finished a show at The Orleans in Las Vegas last week and was planning to take the month off to relax and work on a new book of essays and musings, Abraham said.

Carlin normally took summers off and was scheduled to begin touring again beginning with a July 20 performance at Humphrey's Concerts By The Bay in San Diego. He had dates lined up through December, Abraham said.

"He was looking forward to it," his publicist, Jeff Abraham said.

Carlin went to the hospital Sunday afternoon because "his heart just didn't feel right," the publicist said.

Carlin was famous for such observations as, "Why is it you park in a driveway and drive on parkway?"

"There are three ingredients in my comedy," he said in a 1991 interview with the Los Angeles Times. "Those three things which wax and wane in importance are English language and wordplay; secondly, mundane, everyday observational comedy -- dogs, cats and all that stuff; and thirdly, sociopolitical attitude comedy."

According to some sources, Carlin's observations, especially his political ones, seemed to have grown more bitter with age.

Dead: Albert Hofmann, LSD Inventor Takes Final Trip

Albert Hofmann, Father of LSD

Albert Hofmann, the inventor of the mind-blowing, day-tripping drug LSD, has passed on to another reality.

LSD inspired millions in the 1960s hippie generation to "turn on, tune in, drop out".

Hofmann was 102. He died yesterday at his home in Burg im Leimental, Switzerland, where he retired to in 1971.

LSD may have been banned and blamed for the corruption of youth, but Hofmann defended his invention with the zeal of a father.

"I produced the substance as a medicine. ... It's not my fault if people abused it," he once said.

The Swiss chemist discovered lysergic acid diethylamide-25 in 1938 while studying the medicinal uses of a fungus found on wheat and other grains at the Sandoz pharmaceuticals firm in Basel.

He became the first human guinea pig of the drug when a tiny amount of the substance seeped onto his finger during a laboratory experiment on April 16, 1943.

"I had to leave work for home because I was suddenly hit by a sudden feeling of unease and mild dizziness," he subsequently wrote in a memo to company bosses.

He said his initial experience resulted in "wonderful visions."

"What I was thinking appeared in colors and in pictures," he told a Swiss television network for a program marking his 100th birthday two years ago. "It lasted for a couple of hours and then it disappeared."

But then Hofmann experimented with a larger dose and went on a "bad trip".
"Everything I saw was distorted as in a warped mirror," he said, describing his bicycle ride home. "I had the impression I was rooted to the spot. But my assistant told me we were actually going very fast."

"The substance which I wanted to experiment with took over me. I was filled with an overwhelming fear that I would go crazy. I was transported to a different world, a different time," Hofmann wrote.

Pharmaceutical giant Sandoz sold LSD 25 under the name Delysid and promoted it to doctors, urging them to try it themselves. It was hoped that LSD would be an important treatment for mental illnesses.

LSD was one of the strongest of medicines: a couple of grams was enough to drug 20-40,000 people for up to 12 hours.

Hofman lived long enough to applaud the decision by Swiss authorities last year to allow LSD to be used in therapy experiments.

There was no word if the funeral music will include selections by the Jefferson Airplane or the Grateful Dead.

New Life Church: Gunman Killed in a Non-Gun Free Zone

The drama of spiritual renewal was secondary Sunday in Colorado Springs, CO. For member of New Life Church, the drama was of a more earthly type.
A gunman killed two staff members at a missionary training center early Sunday after being told he couldn’t spend the night, and about 12 hours later four people were shot outside a megachurch in Colorado Springs.

Colorado Springs police Lt. Fletcher Howard said a suspect had been detained in the shootings outside the New Life Church. Authorities in Arvada, a Denver suburb about 65 miles north, said no one had been captured in the shootings there.

It was not immediately known whether the shootings were related, but Arvada authorities said they were sharing information with Colorado Springs investigators. The mission training program has a small office at the church’s World Prayer Center on the New Life campus.

Howard declined to say whether the Colorado Springs suspect had been shot. Police sealed off the church, but it was not clear whether any parishioners were still inside.
Should one now have to keep a Smith & Wesson handy while thumbing the hymnal?
The church’s 11 a.m. service had recently ended, and hundreds of people were milling about when the gunman opened fire. Nearby were parents picking up their children from the nursery.

Police arrived to find the gunman had been killed by a member of the church’s armed security staff, Myers said.

“There was a courageous staff member who probably saved many lives here today,” Myers said.
As Michelle Malkin sums up, "Amid the horror, a glimmer of good news: The culture of self-defense may have saved untold lives."

Megachurches are fortunate that among their benefits are an armed security staff. Is this a new feature that the faithful can count on?

At least New Life Church wasn't a Gun Free Zone.

As we posted on Friday, (Gun Free Zones: Recent School Shootings )the only people who are protected in Gun Free Zones are the shooters.

The church members can get on their knees and give thanks that their church wasn't a Gun Free Zone.

One suspects the death toll would have been many times higher.

Two Sailors Shot Dead in Bahrain:
Not Terror Related

by Mondoreb

A story from CNN reminds one that the enemy is not the only hazard of serving during wartime.
Two U.S. sailors were killed and one was critically wounded in a shooting inside their barracks early Monday at a U.S. Navy's base in Bahrain, the Navy said.

The shootings took place in the barracks on the U.S. Naval Support Activity Bahrain base around 5 a.m. local time, the Navy said in a statement, according to The Associated Press.

The shooting was not a terror-related attack, the Navy said. A Navy spokesman in Bahrain refused to provide any other details about the incident to CNN.

Although few details are known at this point, this story reminds us of another observation: anytime more than one human lives in close quarters, friction is bound to develop.

The Only Good Insurgent is a Dead One

19,000 "MILITANTS" KILLED IN IRAQ
HAS USA TODAY WORRIED

by Mondoreb

USA Today seems worried about the release of figures showing that U.S. troops have killed over 19,000 "militants" since the beginning of the conflict. Although the paper has a graph labeling the deceased "enemy fighters", they start out their story by labeling the dead fighters "militants". Apparently, those guys were uber-militant. With the coverage USA Today usually provides readers, those figures probably seem shocking.
From USA Today
More than 19,000 militants have been killed in fighting with coalition forces since the insurgency began more than four years ago, according to military statistics released for the first time.
The statistics show that 4,882 militants were killed in clashes with coalition forces this year, a 25% increase over all of last year.
Just another item in what is turning out to be a 'bad news month' for Iraqi defeatmongers everywhere. The surge has shown results, MoveOn.org overplayed their weak hand and now, news of 19,000 dead Islamofascists. The Huffington Post minions must be weeping uncontrollably.

Like any good little MSM mouthpiece, USA Today is not going to let a little good news deter them from their turn-and-run mission. Accompanying the above story are pieces on "The Mental Toll" and "Defense Secretary Seeks $42 Billion". In case anyone misses the point that there can never really be any good news about Iraq, there's a video embedded in the story showing anti-war activists.

Numerous stories abound about Americans and their deficiency where mathematics are concerned. But almost all Americans can put two plus two together and arrive at four.
They can figure out that 19,000 dead "militants" over in Iraq means 19,000 less suitcase bombers, snipers and CAIR press releases over here.

19,000 dead terrorists and USA Today is worried. It may be time for other defeatist media trumpets to worry also.
