Obama Tax Plan: We Are Going to Spread Wealth Around

Obama Explains Tax Plan to Ohio Plumber
Obama: "Spread the Wealth Around"

Smells Like Socialism

I’ve never been a big fan of Penn & Teller, but today, I have to say I’m a fan of a new video released today that includes their commentary on Barack Obama’s socialist plans to turn the United States into a Marxist wasteland.

[Note: The original Penn & Teller version has been pulled for some reason; therefore, I substituted another video showing Obama explaining away his tax play.]

Incredibly, the video captures the Democratic Party presidential nominee using the words "spread the wealth around" during his response to a question asked by Joe Wurzelbacher of Toledo, Ohio. The 34-year-old plumber asked Obama, point blank, "Your new tax plan's going to tax me more, isn't it?"

If this doesn't scare you, nothing will: Higher taxes, wealth redistribution and a socialist airhead in the White House.

Barack Obama: CHANGE U.S. Defense Back to Clinton and Carter Days

"This video -- presumably made for a very, very, very liberal audience -- is evidence that Barack Obama is ill-prepared, at best, to serve as America's Commander-in-Chief."
--Doug Ross

Obama's "change" sounds like the "same old, same old" from Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.

Doug Ross has performed a much-needed public service.

Must watch video: Barack Obama Promises to Disarm America

Doug posted the above video and information on what "hope" looks like--through the eyes of Democrat presidential candidate, Barack Obama.

The above video and Doug's list of how Obama has voted in his short time in the Senate on important issues is must-read for anyone thinking that they might vote for the junior senator from Illinois.

Highlights from the video

...I will cut investments in unproven [sic] missile defense systems...
...I will not weaponize space...
...I will slow development of Future Combat Systems...
...and I will institute a "Defense Priorities Board" to [prevent] unnecessary spending...
...I will set a goal of a world without nuclear weapons...
...and to seek that goal, I will not develop nuclear weapons...
...I will seek a global ban on the development of fissile material...
...and I will negotiate with Russia to take our ICBMs off hair-trigger alert...
...and to achieve deep cuts in our nuclear arsenals...
Barack Obama's plans for America in a dangerous world.

Should Obama make it to the White house, it would seem that after his above "changes", America's best defense would consist of: hope.

Hope that Iran doesn't nuke us.

Or Russia.

Barack Obama is for "change". But his rhetoric sounds like the same old Democrat line whenever it comes to defending American interests.

After Jimmy Carter, the American military had to re-tool. After Bill Clinton's "peace dividend", the same was true.

When you take military and defense options away from yourself, you leave little room to maneuver in an emergency.

Neither president had much of a will for a strong defense.

Carter's response to the invasion of Afghanistan was to boycott the Olympics. His military response to the Iranian hostage crisis was--do you really have the time?

Clinton's response was always to bomb and fire rockets--sometimes at empty buildings.

Re-watch the video and read the Doug Ross story.

And think about Obama's "change" in America's national defense.

Does the U.S. military have time in this dangerous world to recover from an Obama presidency?

Ralph Nader for President 2008? It Looks Like It

Nader to announce plans on "Meet the Press" Sunday

Ralph Nader, coming to a 2008 November ballot for president, near you?

Ralph Nader will be on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday to possibly announce that he in entering the 2008 presidential race.

Nader used the NBC Sunday news show to kick off his 2004 presidential run.
Kevin Zeese, who was Nader's spokesman during the 2004 presidential race, but is no longer working for him, said Friday that Nader has been actively talking to "lots of people on all sorts of levels" about the possibility of making another run.

Zeese said he could only guess what Nader might do, but added: "Obviously, I don't think ("Meet the Press" host) Tim Russert would have him on for no reason.

This will kill the buzz of many top DNC members, as well as put a pity party on the schedule of the leftblogophere.

From Right Pundits:
Nader chapped Democrats in 2000 by running as a Green Party candidate and costing Al Gore the White House. The DNC waged an all out war on Nader in 2004 trying to remove his name from ballots on technicalities. Nader has already established a presidential exploratory committee which is actively seeking donations and hiring employees.

The news will surely cause some Democrats to say, "The man who killed the Corvair is trying to kill the Democrat dreams for 2008."

That's too bad.

Many of those very same people were cheering when Nader killed the Corvair.
