The Mainstream Media Discovers--GASP!--the Underbelly of the Clintons
Eight Years Later



The day following the crucial Indiana and NC primaries that seemed to end Hillary's presidential aspirations, a strange thing happened. The media started releasing bits and pieces of Hillary's seldom reported, nefarious doings. Doings that have been in the public arena for years but never followed up by the media.

The Washington Times headline Once-Secret Memos Question Clinton's Honesty appeared Wednesday. The article outlined the decades old information that federal prosecutors had assembled hundreds of pages of evidence suggesting she concealed information and misled a federal grand jury. Information that has long been available but, curiously, never reported in depth until now.

On Friday, The Wall Street Journal ran an article entitled, The Clinton Divorce, in which they actually mentioned nine of the most well known Clinton scandals. This was followed on Saturday by a current (potential) Hillary scandal, U.S. Criminal Probe Eyes Clinton Donor.

Monday we see another headline from the Washington Times, Clinton's Records Vanished After Warning, about the billing records of Hillary's Rose Law Firm. The billing records that disappeared 14 years ago, and were found by Hillary two years later.



These articles may come as a shock to many voters, especially young students, who weren't around during the era of non-stop Clinton scandals. They, along with many voters, believe the unchallenged statements by Hillary and legions of pundits that Hillary has been thoroughly vetted. Even McCain and many other conservatives echo this false statement and accept it as truth. Its not.

The Clinton scandals, both Bill's and Hillary's, have never been reported to the American people. Or were reported in such a way as to convey the impression they were fantasies motivated by hate filled members of the right wing conspiracy. They were one or two day stories which were then swept down the old memory hole. Despite iron-clad evidence of malfeasance, perjury, cover-up, blackmail and conspiracy.

As one of the only three journalists that dared cover the Vince Foster supposed 'suicide', I remain perplexed to this day how solid evidence of conspiracy, cover-up and numerous documented illegalities by team Clinton managed to be kept from public view. I have seen the actual evidence. The evidence that was never made available to the American public. Whether Vince Foster was murdered or committed suicide is not known. The evidence, however, clearly shows that his death did not occur in Ft Marcy Park, as most Americans believe.

Most Americans would be shocked to know that the Monica Lewinsky scandal served Bill Clinton quite well. It diverted attention from the more serious charges concerning Chinese cash that coincidentally flowed to Bill Clinton at the same time his crony, Ron Brown, in the Commerce Department was approving the export of our nuclear technology to China. This Chinese cash was instrumental in Bill Clinton's re-election in 1996. These two scandals are merely the tip of the Clinton iceberg but they set the reporting standard for the many scandals that followed.

Whether conservatives were honestly unaware of the available facts, or whether they were afraid of losing their credibility by reporting the unbelievable shenanigans of the Clintons is a question I can't answer. What I do know is that every article I have written about the Clinton's malfeasance over the last 13 years, has been rejected. By liberals and conservatives alike.



The timing of these articles raises a red flag. Why, after all these years, is it now acceptable to point out the reality surrounding the Clintons? Will the public finally be made aware of the extent and scope of team Clinton's illegalities, scandals and cover-ups? Will the media finally let the American public know about Hillary's supporting and leading roles in the numerous documented cases involving corruption, perjury, blackmail and intimidation? If so, why now?

No matter what side of the aisle you're on, every American has the right to enough information to make an informed decision when casting their vote. We should all question why all this information was never made available to the public when it actually mattered.

"Time For Edwards' Exit": Scandals, Dick Morris, and Tenacity

Through a "scandal that never was," the "John Edwards Love Child" story, consistently coming in third place in the primaries and a gentle velvet gloved scolding from Dick Morris and Eileen McGann, John Edwards isn't about to quit the campaign for the President. Anyone who knows John Edwards, former one time Senator from South Carolina, feisty civil court attorney, knows Edwards' tenaciousness, especially when it comes to his major occupation, running for President.

Dick Morris and Eileen McGann's piece in today's New York Post, "Time For Edward's Exit" is a hoot.

Morris and McGann have decided it's time for Edwards' exit from the Dem's campaign for President and we like how they tried to handle it, attempting to deliver a "pink slip" with a "velvet glove" touch.

To date, Edwards has been a passionate and effective advocate of the need for change. His opposition to special-interest funding of our politics and his good example in refusing to take funds from political action committees both merit our praise and admiration.

They point out that Edwards remaining in the race has unintentional or intentional consequences. It depends on what Morris and McCann's intent was in delivering this missive:

Edwards divides the anti-Clinton vote - and so undermines the prospects for the changes that he so passionately demands in our government. By staying in, he's helping deliver the nomination to the person whom he has described as the defender of the status quo.

They hit Edwards with "facts":

Just how hopeless is his candidacy? Realclearpolitics.com's average of national polls has him in third place - with Clinton at 41 percent, Obama at 35 percent and Edwards at just 15 percent. Even in South Carolina (right next door to his home state), he's polling at only 15 percent to Obama's 42 percent and Clinton's 30 percent.

What does this all mean? Let's try some perspective.

John Edwards has become the quintessential professional politician, his sole "employment" or vocation since running for VP on the ticket with John Kerry in the last election, Edwards has been "officially" campaigning for the 2008 Presidential race since December of 2006.Source - MSNBC

From the New York Times, January 6th:

Appearing on “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” Sunday morning, Mr. Edwards said that he would not drop out of the race after the New Hampshire primary.

“This is the cause of my life, and I have no intention of stopping,” Mr. Edwards said. “I am in this through the convention and to the White House.

“Through the convention?” Mr. Stephanopoulos repeated, somewhat incredulously.

“Absolutely,” Mr. Edwards said.

“Even if you lose here, lose in South Carolina, lose in Florida?” Mr. Stephanopoulos continued.

“I am in this through the convention and to the White House,” Mr. Edwards replied.

The Scandal That Never Was....




The National Enquirer broke the "Love Child Scandal" story on Edwards back in December. The "second" such scandal to break, it detailed a very pregnant woman named Rielle Hunter ensconced in a ritzy gated community close to Edward's campaign headquarters in North Carolina:

The woman linked to Presidential candidate John Edwards in a cheating scandal is more than six months pregnant and telling a close confidante that Edwards is the father of her unborn child, The NATIONAL ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.

The NATIONAL ENQUIRER's political bombshell comes just weeks after Edwards emphatically denied having an affair with Rielle Hunter, who formerly worked on his campaign.

But The ENQUIRER has now confirmed not only that Rielle is pregnant, but she is also living in Chapel Hill, N.C. in a gated community, just a few streets away from Andrew Young, who has been a key official in Edwards' campaign. The MSM gave the story a wide berth. Not one single MSM organization looked into the Enquirer's charge that Edwards had an affair with Ms. Hunter. That she was now living rent free in an Edward's supporter's house, driving a car owned by a former Edwards campaign official and good buddy, Andrew Young.

Edwards was given a "Get Out Of Scandal Free" Card by the MSM. No mention of the "Love Child" was made by any of the MSM outlets.

Edwards was free to "campaign" focusing on the downtrodden, those who were getting "screwed" by "the Man."

"Hedging" on the Hedge funds

Edwards described his "work" for the hedge fund company, Fortress Investment Group, in May, 2007, as a "lesson in learning."

"I didn't feel like I understand, and to be honest with you still learning right now, sort of the relationship between that world and the way money moves in this country through financial markets," Edwards said.

Edwards said he also spoke to some Wall Street investment firms such as Goldman Sachs besides exploring the position with Fortress. He said his role was to advise the firm about what he saw happening economically in the United States and during his travels overseas. Source - newsmax

The people at Fortress really, really liked John Edwards, the man who's campaigning for the "little guy."

Fortress Investment Group, founded in 1998, describes itself as "a leading global alternative asset manager" with approximately $35.1 billion in assets under management as of December 31, 2006. The company is headquartered in New York with affiliates around the world.

Fortress was the single biggest employer of Edwards donors during the first three months of the year. Donors who listed "Fortress" as their employer contributed $67,450 to Edwards' campaign and supporters who identified their employer as "Fortress Investment Group" gave $55,200 to the campaign, according to Federal Election Commission records. Edwards learned another lesson after it was discovered his "hedge fund" was foreclosing on the most innocent of victims:

Embarrassed presidential hopeful John Edwards promised yesterday to take millions of dollars of his own fortune out of a hedge fund tied to subprime lenders who foreclosed on victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The populist candidate - who has denounced such lenders - invested $16 million of his $30 million in assets in Fortress Investment Group. The Wall Street Journal reported that 34 New Orleans homeowners struggling to overcome Katrina's aftermath faced foreclosure suits from subprime-lending units of Fortress.

Yesterday, the red-faced Democratic candidate vowed to remove from his portfolio any Fortress funds that have a stake in those lender units.

"I will not have my family's money involved in these firms that are foreclosing on people in New Orleans," he said while on the campaign trial in Des Moines, Iowa.

John Edwards, Professional Politician

Speculation about John Edwards' presidential aspirations date back to the 2000 campaign, when Al Gore mentioned the North Carolina senator's name as his second choice for a running mate on the Democratic ticket.



Edwards, a man with deep Southern roots, began 2003 as a top contender for the Democratic presidential nomination, and before the election season was even under way, several magazines -- People, the New Yorker and the New Republic, among others -- had published profiles of the senator.

Edwards was elected Senator of South Carolina in 1998. In 2003, he announced his decision to retire and to run for President in the 2004 election. Failing to win the nomination for President, Edwards was chosen by the nominee, Senator John Kerry, as his running mate.

Kerry and Edwards were defeated in the 2004 election but by December 2006, Edwards was once again announcing his intention to run for President in the 2008 election. Source - Wiki

By our calculations Edwards has been both officially and unofficially running for the office of the Presidency longer than he was a Senator.

Morris and McGann feel it's time for Edwards to "gracefully" remove himself from the race with sugarcoated kudos. Surely both Morris and McGann know Edwards by now, that Edwards only does what Edwards wants to do.

At this juncture it's premature to declare either Obama or Hillary as a "sure thing." Edwards, a wily ex-civil attorney, knows this too. The race is far from over and Edwards is doing what he does best: run for President.

Hillary Clinton: Crass for Cash President?

Of all the scandals that swirled around the two terms served by President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary none was so crass as the revelation that Bill and Hillary had been allowing "sleepovers" in Lincoln's Bedroom in exchange for millions of dollars in campaign contributions.

For two straight days President Clinton denied there was any improper use of the Lincoln Bedroom and other White House functions in raising campaign funds for his 1996 re-election campaign. Jim Lehrer leads a discussion with Ann Lewis, assistant to the President, and White House Deputy Director of Communications, and three regional commentators who disagree with the President's view. ROBERT KITTLE, San Diego Union-Tribune: I'm sorry. I just don't buy it, and I don't buy it because we have it in the President's own handwriting in the documents that were released by the White House this week the evidence that he was encouraging these overnights in the White House, these sleep-overs in the White House for money. It was in connection with the memo that suggested how much could be raised by inviting guests to the White House. The President said in his own handwriting, please give me the list of the top ten contributors and those who can give $50 or $100,000. And he said let's begin the overnights right away. [1]

The White House Lincoln Bedroom is a national treasure. In it, President Abraham Lincoln held cabinet meetings, planned campaigns with his generals, and signed the Emancipation Proclamation. Lincoln's handwritten copy of the Gettysburg Address is permanently stored in the Bedroom. [2]

Eight hundred and thirty one "friends" were given access for "sleepovers" over the course of the two terms served by Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary. Access for cold, hard cash.

CNN, in conjunction with the Campaign Study Group, assembled a list of overnight Lincoln Bedroom guests in 1997. The list was compiled after Clinton was sworn in for his second term and the Republican-controlled Congress launched multiple probes into how Clinton secured the means to propel his re-election effort.

Those guests, the survey concluded, contributed a total $5.2 million to the DNC between 1995 and 1996 -- and may have given significantly more. [3]

Talking it Over

What is it really like to live in the White House? Let me take you behind the scenes and give you an idea of life amidst the beauty and excitement of America's past and present.

If you've ever had the opportunity to visit the White House, you know it is not only the President's home and office but also a museum of our country's history. Visitors and staff see the public parts. But we live on the second and third floors, the only places that Bill, Chelsea and I can be alone and private as a family.

Hillary writes with "reverence" for the White House. But what was it really like?

The photo below is of two of the Clinton's Hollywood buddies, actress Markie Post and sitcom creator, Linda Thomason, using the bed in Lincoln's bedroom as a trampoline.

LEE CULLUM, Dallas Morning News: Yes, it is crass. It's vulgar. It's terrible taste. The Dallas Morning News had two editorials this week, not one but two, calling for a special prosecutor in this matter. You know, the White House has simply gone too far. I'm not naive. I know that people have given money to presidents for years, and, in return, they get certain courtesies. Maybe they get invited to a party every now and then, and certainly somebody calls them up if they place a call and say they've got problems, but this has been a systematic selling of the White House in bits and pieces. It's gone too far, and it's way out of hand. It is crass.

ANN LEWIS, White House Deputy Communications Director: If that were true, if those accusations were true, crass would be a mild word. The White House is a very special building. I have the privilege of working there every day. And I truly feel it's a privilege. President and Mrs. Clinton have the privilege of living there. And they know it is a privilege. They also have the privilege of sharing that opportunity with their friends. [1]

Bill and Hillary raised millions of dollars in campaign contributions pimping out the bedroom of one our greatest Presidents, Abraham Lincoln. Our 16th President, this man guided our nation through what was our darkest hour, the Civil War, where millions died. He wrote the Emancipation Proclamation and was assasinated on Good Friday, April 14th, 1865.

Hillary Clinton:

The reason we call the room the Lincoln Bedroom is because it contains a suite of furniture purchased by Mrs. Lincoln. Her husband was assassinated before they could ever use the bed and dressers themselves. When guests stay there now, they sleep in the magnificent rosewood bed made extra large for Lincoln. They can examine a copy of the Gettysburg Address written in Lincoln's own hand that we keep on a desk in the room. And they can sit around the table he sat at to draft the Emancipation Proclamation. It always thrills me to show this room to visitors because of my admiration for President Lincoln and my empathy for all he and his wife endured, especially the death of their son Tad during their days in the White House. Hillary Clinton continued the tradition in 2000, awarding her "friends" the Lincoln bedroom "sleepover."

The White House pledged to release a list of overnight White House guests after new questions arose over first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign for Senate in New York. The administration has acknowledged that donors to Mrs. Clinton's campaign have stayed overnight at the White House, but said the stays were not awarded in exchange for a donation.[3]

The Clintons chose not to revere this man's memory but to sell it to the highest bidder, not once but over 800 times. Those people were allowed to pack their little bags and settle into this great man's room.

What does this tell us about these two people, Bill and Hillary Clinton? What does it tell us about their future behavior, once their moving van backs up once again to the doors of the White House?

Those who treat what we hold most solemn and sacred? What we hold dear in our nation's history, to be sold out, fondled, disabused in order to coddle campaign contributors.

Hillary's past behavior belies an opportunist out to make a buck to further her ambitions. A crass woman with no regard for what we hold dear in our nation's history.

Very crass indeed.
