Two Conventions:
Compare and Contrast

We got these pictures and thought, with the ending of the Republican National Convention, that they would be a good reminder of the Show@Invesco at the Democrat National Convention in Denver.

Flights of Oratory, fireworks and those famous Styrofoam columns marked the occasion.

We're indebted to DBKP's RidesAPaleHorse and his friend, Kevin, for the nifty pix of the--dare we say it?--inside of the stadium and its rock concert atmosphere.

"But when the cloud of rhetoric has passed ... when the roar of the crowd fades away ... when the stadium lights go out, and those Styrofoam Greek columns are hauled back to some studio lot - what exactly is our opponent's plan?"
--Sarah Palin

Interesting question:
Could readers tell any differences in the conventions and their approach?

Lori Drew Statement Comparison: What Lawyer Said in 2007, What She Said in 2006

Police report filed by Lori Drew, 11-25-06

A comparison of a few of the statements made by Lori Drew in November of 2006 and the statements made by Jim Briscoe, Drew's lawyer, on the Today Show earlier today.

“Everything, as far as Mrs. Drew knew, was that all the communication was nice and polite and there was no harassing going on,” Briscoe said. “She did not create the MySpace account. She did not instruct anybody to create the MySpace account. She never made any communications through the MySpace account.”

"Drew stated that in the months leading up Meier's daughter suicide, she instigated and monitored a "my space" account which was created for the sole purpose of communicating with Meier's daughter."

--From the police report above.

Are there any discrepancies between what Lori Drew stated in the police report in November 2006 and what her lawyer said in December 2007?

Or do they jive?

As always, we'll present both and let the readers decide.
