Leo Denofrio sued NJ Secretary of State Nina Wells over the eligibility of presidential candidates John McCain, Barack Obama and Roger Calero.

Calero isn't even a U.S. citizen, yet appeared on NJ's presidential ballot.

The Denofrio v. Wells case was actually referred to conference by the full Court, not just Justice Clarence Thomas.

12/1/08 - Donofrio's case in the Supreme Court was actually referred to conference by the full Court, not just Justice Clarence Thomas. Bob Vernon, from the Plains Radio Network, spoke with Patricia McCabe Estrada, Deputy Director of Pulic Information at the SCOTUS. She confirmed that Mr. Donofrio's application was first referred to conference by Thomas on the 19th, but after that referral, the full Court distributed the application for Conference on December 5, 2008. Unusual. The docket was not clear to these facts.

However, another fact-checking site fact checked Phillip Berg (of Berg v Obama): What's Your Evidence?. It does a good job of sorting through the numerous claims with links to sources and WYE does a good job of sticking to the facts.

Barack Obama has advocated for the elimination of the U.S. Constitution's requirement that a president be a "natural-born" citizen, calling the requirement "stupid" and asserting it discriminates, is outdated and undemocratic.

In case you missed it, Obama won. Supporters gathered on the White House lawn in celebration, some of them waving the Soviet flag. I kid you not - check out the video.

Iran sent wholehearted congratulations and the leader of a jihadi group in Iraq argued that Obama as president represents a victory for radical Islamic groups that have battled American forces since the invasion of Iraq.

The first thing Obama did after winning the election was to set up an Office of the President-Elect. Huh? He then set about deciding which of Bush's executive orders he will overturn first, stem cell or offshore drilling.

Finally, his staff confirmed that it would be full speed ahead on revoking Bush's tax cuts for the 'wealthiest Americans.' Despite the known economic fact that raising taxes in a recession is a disaster in the making.

Plans are now underway to promote a national holiday for Barack Obama.
The costliest campaign in history is finally over. So, too, is the credibility of the old media. Several news anchors wept tears of joy upon news of his win. Read about it in depth in 'The Return Of The Girly Men.'

Social conservatives made some headway in the culture wars as three states banned gay marriage and most state-wide environmental issues were voted down.

San Francisco voters lost their bid to have a waste treatment plant officially named after George Bush, (how ruuude..) and they also rejected Measure K, which would have legalized prostitution.
Europe is in full retreat on their climate plan and a new report shows that sea ice is growing at the fastest pace ever.


Confidence in Iraq is at an all time high, with 51% of voters expecting the situation in Iraq to improve in the next six months. Thank-you, President Bush. Oh, in India, 6,000 muslim clerics actually issued a fatwa against terrorism. Baby steps, baby steps...

An Oregon town has elected America's first transgendered mayor. Isn't he/she cute?

Washington state became the second state to give terminally ill people the option of assisted suicide with the passage of Initiative 1000. That doesn't mean that patients who want their physicians help in killing themselves will be able to get it as some doctors in Washington still take seriously the Hippocratic Oath.

A new study shows that increasing numbers of people seeking assisted suicide in Switzerland do not suffer from a terminal illness. Speaking of assisted suicide, exit polls from MSNBC, CNN and Fox show that Obama received a whopping 78% of the Jewish vote.

A sterile woman is set to give birth to the world's first baby conceived after a full ovary transplant. In Japan, scientists have successfully cloned mice whose bodies were frozen for as long as 16 years. They say it may now be possible to use this technique to resurrect mammoths and other extinct species.

Over in the UK, Lord Winston said that organs from pigs could be available for transplant into patients in the next decade. It truly is a brave new world.

Watch out, guys. Alarming trends in male fertility rates, birth defects and disorders are emerging around the world. More and more boys are being born with genital defects and are suffering from learning disabilities, autism and Tourette's syndrome, among other disorders.

ESSENTIAL TRIVIA

Wildlife officials in northern California last week came across one of the biggest Chinook salmon ever found in the state — a monster more than 4 feet long and weighing 85 pounds.

A new report concludes that voter turnout in Tuesday’s election was the same in percentage terms as it was four years ago — or at most has risen by less than 1 percent.

A top ten of the most irritating expressions has been compiled by researchers at Oxford University. Heading the list was the expression 'at the end of the day,' followed by the phrase 'fairly unique.' My own choice is 'Change' and 'Yes we can.'

Proud progressive, Irony Curtain, of the KG3, has noticed the capitalist media barons at the NY Times enthusiastically support the elimination of the imperialist torture community at Guantanamo Bay in glorious Cuba.

However, his fine, forward-looking eye has also noticed that the imperialist lackeys at the Times has exhibited the good judgment to "look the other way" on tortures carried out by Cuba's comrades in the Workers' Paradise of Vietnam.

As always, we thank Stalin for calling this to our attention.

McCain-Palin in PA: Palin a Hit with Everyone but CNN

Palin, McCain a Hit with Crowd
CNN's Story All About "Boos"





John McCain and Sarah Palin appeared in Pennsylvania for the first time as the GOP ticket for November and both were well-received by the overflowing crowd.

Sarah Palin, however, was a hit.

The large and enthusiastic crowd packed Consol Energy Field, located south of Pittsburgh in Washington, PA, and cheer, flags and McCain-Palin "Terrible Towel" knockoffs were the order of the day.

The Alaskan governor spoke after a warm-up by McCain. McCain's enthusiasm for his running mate was evident in his intro: the Arizona senator sounded confident throughout his glowing description of Palin as "the American story".

"She's not part of the American story, she is an American story."





CNN was on the scene, and producer, Peter Hamby, led with "Palin Booed for Mentioning Hillary Clinton".

While that was true, it was the only boos of the afternoon; Palin even got some applause a line earlier when she mentioned Geraldine Ferraro. The 5 seconds of Hillary boos were an anomaly in, what was clearly, a political lovefest.

But what else would CNN have reported? CNN is a flagship of the Mainstream Media and this is one more example of their "unbiased" reporting.

In just her second appearance on the campaign trail with John McCain, newly-minted GOP running mate Sarah Palin was showered with boos on Saturday for attempting to praise Clinton’s trail-blazing bid to become the first female president.


One woman from Penn Hills, holding a "Women for McCain" sign thought Palin was just what McCain needed.

"She's a conservative and she moves the Republicans back to where they need to be."

A brilliantly-sunny afternoon on a Labor Day weekend and an obviously fired-up crowd wouldn't be news for Hamby's regular remaining viewers.






Before the McCain-Palin entourage arrived in the "Straight Talk Express" buses, the crowd was entertained by former Steeler and 2006 PA Republican gubernatorial candidate, Lynn Swann. Swann related about how when he covered the Iditarod dogsled race in Alaska, he was interviewed by Palin, working at the time as a sports reporter for an Alaskan TV station.

Former PA governor and Director of Homeland Security, Tom Ridge, introduced McCain to the crowd. Swann made a hasty exit to go see his son play in a pee-wee football game.

A few dozen Obama supporters lined the entrance road to the stadium before the event and urged the crowd to support what they called "real change".

Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media Fawning Fest

If anyone needed any proof that the Mainstream Media is the PR wing of the Democrat Party, they need look no further than Barack Obama's Excellent Adventure. Obama is being attended to by the breathless anchors of ABC, NBC and CBS News.

The three network anchors will travel to Europe and the Middle East next week for Barack Obama's trip, adding their high-wattage spotlight to what is already shaping up as a major media extravaganza.

Lured by an offer of interviews with the Democratic presidential candidate, Brian Williams, Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric will make the overseas trek, meaning that the NBC, ABC and CBS evening newscasts will originate from stops along the route and undoubtedly give it big play....The plan is for Williams, Gibson and Couric interviews to be parceled out on successive nights in different countries, giving each anchor a one-day exclusive.


What about the Republican candidate, John McCain's foreign trips?

Well, McCain--regardless of how hard he tries to win the respect of his buddies in the press corps--doesn't have the "D" after his name, so he gets no anchor coverage on his trips.

"John McCain has taken three foreign trips in the past four months, all unaccompanied by a single network anchor....When McCain visited Britain, France and Israel in March and met with their leaders, no network anchors tagged along. NBC and ABC sent correspondents; CBS did not. None of the evening newscasts covered his trip to Canada last month. And McCain's swing through Colombia and Mexico two weeks ago was barely covered, although NBC and ABC sent correspondents."

Isn't everyone--except McCain--a winner here?

After all, Obama gets to pretend his trip gives him "foreign policy experience", the Evening News anchors get to pretend that they're covering real news, instead of a campaign-manufactured event, and the Mainstream Media gets to pretend that they're an unbiased news source.

The only losers are those few people who still think that the Mainstream Media serves up news instead of public relations pieces for the Democrat Party.

All of the left-wing components of the Mainstream Media are facing tough times: layoffs, falling stock prices, downsizing. In none of the press releases accompanying these announcements, has there been one mention of the root causes of these gloomy happenings; i.e., the Mainstream Media continues to peddle a product that few are buying these days.

Liberalism and socialism, to be exact.

Again, if any proof is needed, Exhibit A is Obama's Excellent Adventure.
