Trench Reynolds: DBKP This Week in Crime - May 4-10th

May 4th-10th, 2008

I'm Trench Reynolds.

I blog about crime.

This is the DBKP Week in Crime for May 4th-10th, 2008

The big news this week at craigscrimelist was about a rapist who used craigslist to find his victims. The sad twist to this one is that the rapist is alleged to have HIV.

On a lighter note from CCL check out a radio interview I did with the Canadian Broadcast Company.

My favorite short blurb at CrimeNe.ws was about the suicide of D.C. Madam Deborah Palfrey and the conspiracies that follow.

To put a damper on Mother's Day over at News of Doom was a story about a mother from Germany who is alleged to have killed three of her newborns and stored them in the freezer.

A couple of weeks ago you may remember the story I posted at MyCrimeSpace about an Australian man who was accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl. Well, he was acquitted.

At Psycho for Love the story of the week was about a spoiled rich kid from New England who was convicted of punching his girlfriend so hard he lacerated her liver. You can also read about all the people that have enabled him over the years.

And lastly at TheTrenchcoat Chronicles I called the media to task for once again trying to connect video games to school shootings and I do it without mentioning GTA IV.

I keep forgetting to mention this but now you can follow all my blogs on Twitter.

That's it for this week. Until next time I'm Trench Reynolds for DBKP, hoping your Mother's Day celebration doesn't make it to my sites.
