A new case has broken out, using that old Islamic chestnut, the alcohol gambit.

Muslim sues Tesco over alcohol

A Muslim said he is suing Tesco for religious discrimination because he was asked to handle crates of alcohol in a warehouse.

Mohammed Ahmed, 32, was employed at the supermarket giant's Lichfield depot in September last year for a job that included transporting various goods on fork-lift trucks.

The Saudi Arabia national told a tribunal he had not been told when he started the job that he would be handling alcoholic drinks - a task he said was against his Islamic beliefs.

The situation came to a head in the run-up to Christmas last year, when more alcohol was ferried to the warehouse in preparation for the festive season.

Mr Ahmed, who moved to Derby in 2006, complained to Tesco in February, but claims he was treated unfairly as a result. After eight months working for the company, he left in protest.

The decision on his legal action, after a three-day employment tribunal held in Birmingham, is expected next week.

So this idiot failed to notice that Tesco sold alcohol? Was it not rather obvious? And if was so damn important, might he not of asked at the interview?

But that is not the way Muslims in the U.K. go about it. The idea is to humiliate the infidels and make business so uncomfortable for the employer that Muslims are essentially calling the shots. It is the Jesse Jackson extortion racket, all about money and control.


As for Tescos response, it seems far more credible.
"Tesco claimed Mr Ahmed was made aware at his induction that he would be handling alcohol, and that every effort was made to find him an alternative role in the warehouse. But the claimant, of Upper Dale Road, Normanton, claims he was victimised by managers because of his stance."

But....

"A Tesco spokesman said: "Cases like this are very rare as managers are trained to be culturally sensitive and have an 'open door policy' to staff for issues like this as everyone is welcome to work at Tesco"


Actually, Mr Tesco, your firm has a large file on employees who suddenly went Muslim on you. And that is part of the problem: every time you give in, you lower yourself in the eyes of Muslims.

Britain is almost paradise for Muslims. In spite of being a mere 4% of the population, 40% of Muslims are on welfare, with apparently, no inclination or desire to get off. Muslims account for almost 50% of all welfare cases in Britain. Current welfare laws allow them to not only engage in polygamy, but to add the wives to the dole and perhaps get a larger public apartment, a privilege reserved to Muslims.

Unlike other philosophies and religions, Islam is almost unique in its lethargy and the unwillingness of its adherents to culuralize0--or to hold a job for that matter.

Except when it comes to getting on the gravy train in the first place.

Then a bit of unoriginal, but intense demonstration of anger is called for: The Sudden Muslim Grievance Syndrome.

DBKP did a survey that was published on July 9th 2008 regarding the the construction of Christian churches in Muslim countries. In discussing Saudi Arabia, it was noted "No Christian churches are allowed. The open practice of Christianity is punishable by death." Therefore, when the following headline from Middle East News popped up on a newscan, it was routinely bookmarked for referral to the editor to see if it was worthy of an Update.

Then the story was wiped; erased from the Middle East News. The page did not suddenly go down: it was simply blank.
Fortunately Weasel Zippers (Saudi "Honor Killing": Muslim Father Cuts out Daughters Tongue, Burns her Alive for Converting to Christianity...... ), a blog that emphasizes jihad and the idiosyncrasyies of Islam had copied the story. So here is the horrendous story:


A Saudi man working with the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice recently killed his daughter for converting to Christianity.

According to sources close to the victim, the religious police member had cut the tongue of the girl and burned her to death following a heated debate on religion.


"The death of the girl sent shockwaves, and websites where the victim used to write with various nicknames have allocated special space to mourn her, while some others closed temporarily in protest.

According to the Saudi Al Ukhdoud news website, the victim wrote an article on the blog of which she was a member under the nickname "Rania" a few days before her murder.

She said that her brother found some Christian articles written by her as well as a cross sign on her computer screen.Since then he started to insult her and blamed the Internet for pushing her to change her religion.

The "Free Copts" website published a message which it received from a friend of the victim, revealing that the killer is in police custody and that he is being investigated for an honour related crime.

Saudi religious scholars have frequently warned against the dangers of Christian internet websites and satellite TV channels which attract Muslim youngsters to change their religion.

They decreed that watching these channels or browsing these websites which call for conversion to Christianity by various means is against the teachings of Islam."

Another full account was reported in The Gulf News, which appears to have produced the first English translation of the sorry tale. Other than once again demonstrating the misogynistic, bigoted barbarity and sheer madness that characterizes Islam, we wonder if these events portend something else: a realization by Muslims that the rest of the world reads or views Islamic behavior with disbelief and disgust. That 'with the Internet, the Mainstream Media blackout on Muslim antics has been bypassed. That the desperate pleas of those that live under this barbarous cult can now occasionally be heard and Islam exposed for what it is, instead of the Religion Of Peace nonsense espoused by Washington and London.

In other words, are some Muslims embarrassed by what they have become?

One of the chancier things an employer in the civilized world can do is hire a Muslim.

Whether because of a false sense of shared multicultural values, sheer desperation, a lack of survival instinct, delusional optimism, or the failure to read a newspaper in the last 7 years, numerous employers in Britain, Canada and the United States suddenly confront the fact that their Islamic faithful employees seem bent on bankrupting their business enterprises.

It is not just the 5 paid prayer breaks: each of which can last up to half an hour, when you include the bathing rituals that absolutely trashes the restrooms. Muslims have exploding lists of grievances, complaints, lawsuits,and reasons why they cannot work--but for which they should be compensated anyway.

We have coined this affliction: Muslim Grievance Syndrome.

Minnesota Target Shifts Muslims Who Refuse To Ring Up Pork

"MINNEAPOLIS Muslim cashiers at some local Target stores who object to ringing up products that contain pork are being shifted to other positions, the national retailer said Saturday." ...

Some Muslim cashiers had declined to scan products such as bacon because doing so would conflict with their religious beliefs. They would ask other cashiers to ring up such purchases, or some customers scanned the items themselves.

So Target must hire 2 cashiers to do the job of one because these cashiers suddenly noticed that the store sold a huge amount of pork products. Hmmm. Wonder when that lightning bolt from Allah hit the Target employees? Not at the job interview. But it gets worse:

"Greear said the situation was a local problem only."

So there you have it. There is no way to predict when your employee will go Muslim on you.

What irrational grievance will suddenly be leveled against the employer or it's (likely former) customer? Because I can assure you that if I was treated like a filthy dog by a cashier dressed in a Halloween outfit, it would be adios. Speaking of which:

Muslim women: Dress code violates faith

A group of Muslim workers allege they were fired by a New Brighton tortilla factory for refusing to wear uniforms that they say were immodest by Islamic standards.

Six Somali women claim they were ordered by a manager to wear pants and shirts to work instead of their traditional Islamic clothing of loose-fitting skirts and scarves, according to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a civil liberties group that is representing the women.

The women have filed a religious discrimination complaint with the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission."

This is a tortilla factory, for crying out loud.

The manufacturer supplies uniforms, hair nets, gloves, etc. Mission products are distributed throughout North America. The factory is run by people with college degrees in Health and Food Science and the law requires it to make a sanitary product.

So six Muslims, who presumably went to a job interview ("...any questions , ma'am?"), and who worked the food line for some time, suddenly get struck by Muslim Grievance Syndrome. The only cure is the humiliation of the employer and lots of money for no work.

I bet Mission Foods wished it had stuck to employees who know how to make tortillas without complaint: Mexican- Americans.

Employers in Britain and Canada also suffer from Muslim Grievance Syndrome--even more so, because these countries cower before Islam; and, recognize this misogynistic, intolerant, bigoted faith as the last word in Multiculturalism. From London:

Muslim checkout staff get an alcohol opt-out clause

MUSLIM supermarket checkout staff who refuse to sell alcohol are being allowed to opt out of handling customers’ bottles and cans of drink. Islamic workers at Sainsbury’s who object to alcohol on religious grounds, are told to raise their hands when encountering any drink at their till, so that a colleague can temporarily take their place or scan items for them.

Other staff have refused to work stacking shelves with wine, beer and spirits and have been found alternative roles in the company.

There it is again. The solution is one that fits in well with Islamic society. The offended cashier, after looking scornfully at the customer for buying the offensive product, waves her hand and a standby cashier completes the transaction. This does not work out so well for the employer though. Not only has he lost control of his store, but two are now doing the job of one.

And this clincher, from the same article:

"Islam states that Muslims should not consume alcohol, but opinion is divided on whether it is permissible to be involved in the sale of it."

Actually, the Koran says that one must not consume wine. It says nothing about other forms of alcohol. But why quibble?

Here's one reason: Alcoholic products are produced in many Muslim countries. For example, beer is manufactured in Egypt and Turkey. It is openly sold and handled by Muslims in many more countries.

And in America?

Muslim-owned convenience stories, groceries, and restaurants sell alcohol throughout the country. But even in America, alcohol can easily provoke sudden Muslim Grievance Syndrome.

Muslim taxi drivers say no to alcohol and dogs

Beginning several years ago, Muslim taxi drivers have said no to passengers carrying alcohol, or who are traveling with pet or service dogs, said Hogan. As many as 100 passengers were denied service each month. That number dropped in August when the Transportation Security Administration limited carry-on liquids, reducing the number of people traveling with alcohol.Roughly three-quarters of the 900 taxi drivers servicing the airport are Muslim, many of them ethnically Somali, the Star Tribune reported.

Last year, the Minnesota chapter of the Muslim American Society issued a fatwa, or legal ruling, saying it was a violation of both Islamic faith and the spirit of the First Amendment to insist Muslims transport alcohol, according to the Star Tribune.

How kindhearted these deeply religious Muslim taxi drivers are: leaving a blind person at the curb. Every form of public transportation in America is required to accommodate the handicapped except a taxi driven by a Muslim, particularly one in the throes of sudden Muslim Grievance Syndrome.

The list of things a Muslim need or need not do is endless. "A Muslim store worker at Marks & Spencer refused to serve a customer buying a children's book on Christianity because she said it was "unclean". Got away with that one too. And we all know how Borders decided that the Koran had to be at the eye level while the Bible was relegated to the bottom shelf because of Muslims complaining.

But, you do not have to be an idiot or hire a Muslim to be cursed by Muslim Grievance Syndrome.

How I nearly lost my business after refusing to hire a Muslim hair stylist who wouldn't show her hair

It seems too lunatic to be true. But here a hair salon boss reveals how she was driven to the brink of ruin - and forced to pay £4,000 for 'hurt feelings' - after refusing to hire a Muslim stylist who wouldn't show her hair at work.

Not only was it brief - lasting little more than ten minutes - but it was rapidly obvious to Sarah that Bushra was not the person for the junior stylist position she was trying to fill at her hairdressing salon.

"Sarah felt that a job requirement of any hairdresser was that the stylist's hair would provide clients with a showcase of different looks. Especially one working in a salon such as hers, which specialises in alternative cuts and colours.

Yet the ten minutes during which Sarah's world collided with Bushra's has resulted in an extraordinary employment battle, in which she was accused of 'direct' and 'indirect' discrimination.

As for the aggrieved hair sylist?

"But, speaking last year, she admitted she had attended 25 interviews for hairdressing jobs without success.

But Sarah, she told the tribunal, had upset her the most.

Sure. And then there is this tidbit:

"Although Bushra is believed to have been acting alone, in the past similar cases have been championed by Muslim traditionalist groups."

Ya Think?



Hire or don't hire at your own risk. it will make no difference apparently.

Traveling across the web, the above cartoon turned up.

More specifically, the above interesting cartoon turned up.

It was first posted at a site (jaspar jottings) where the poster was if he was a racist for posting the cartoon.

Of course, it an Obama supporter posing the question. Apparently, it had not occurred that posting carefully-documented information is not usually an M.O. of a racist.

But then, it's much easier to sling names than to think things out.

But the cartoon, by one Jerry Breen, made some pretty interesting, relevant points.

And the fact that Breen had this cartoon up in July 2007--almost 9 months ago--makes him look positively prescient.

Shiites Celebrate Ashura with Blood, Bombs and Blasts

In the interests of multicultural understanding, DBKP presents "Religious Festivals Around the World".

Because multiculturalism teaches that all cultures are equally valid and that making value judgments based on one's culture are 'simplistic', 'racist', 'nationalistic', or 'jingoistic'.

Advocates for the adoption (or maintenance) of official policies of multiculturalism often argue that cultural diversity is a positive force for a society's nationhood or cultural identity.

To promote multiculturalism many places in the West, especially in Europe, this means teaching a watered-down, revisionist form of history to schoolchildren and the branding of "patriotism" as a sin of the simple-minded, uneducated masses; to be avoided at all costs.

Yesterday, millions of Shiites across Iraq climaxed the Ashura rituals in a show of blood. The ceremonies were marked by attacks that killed 21 and a bloody uprising by various doomsday cults.

Shiites make up about 15% of all Muslims worldwide.

In the shrine city of Karbala, almost 2 million people packed the streets and highways for the main festivities commemorating the killing of the Imam Hussein by the armies of the Sunni caliph Yazid almost 1329 years ago in 680.



The provincial governor Akil al-Khazali:

"Two million people have come to Karbala for Ashura," Akil al-Khazali told a news conference as buses began ferrying the crowds of pilgrims home even before the conclusion of the 10-day event.

"There have been no security violations ... and the ceremonies have gone ahead without incident."

The governor had earlier in the week announced the deployment of some 20,000 security force members in and around Karbala, about 100 kilometres (60 miles) south of Baghdad.

Processions in Karbala, which began with thousands of devotees drenched in blood after ritually slicing their scalps, ended with a re-enactment of the battle for Karbala in 680 in which the revered Imam Hussein was killed.



Processions were held through the streets, including by those engaging in the scalp-slicing rite of "tatbir" and others who took to self-flagellation to mourn the death of Hussein.

No good blood-letting ceremony is complete without doomsday cultists.

Most of the violence linked to this year's Ashura, meanwhile, was attributed to a Shiite messianic sect led by a shadowy figure known as Ahmed al-Hassani al-Yamani.

Officials said fighters of Yamani's cult, their yellow headbands bearing the Star of David, rose up on Friday simultaneously in the southern port city of Basra and in Nasiriyah, about 350 kilometres (220 miles) south of Baghdad.

Fighting raged through the afternoon in both cities, during which officials said police posts and several Ashura processions were attacked by cultists wielding machineguns and assault rifles.

The clashes died down in Basra during the night but continued sporadically in Nasiriyah.

A police official in Nasiriyah said Iraq's security forces raided hideouts of the doomsday cultists at daybreak on Saturday, flushing them out of a mosque and houses they had occupied in Al-Salhiyah suburb and ending the uprising.

Police officials said at least 35 cultists were killed in Basra and 18 in Nasiriyah. A total of 12 police, two Iraqi soldiers and three civilians were also killed.

Followers of the cult seek to hasten the return of Imam Mahdi, an eighth century imam who vanished as a boy and whom Shiites believe will return to bring justice to the world.

Besides the doomsday die-hards, there was other violent hot-spots around the country.

Apparently to more than a few, Ashura means celebrating with bombs and mortars.

There were plenty of both.

A spate of violence elsewhere in the country, however, took the gloss off the largely peaceful Karbala pilgrimage, which in recent years has been attacked by Sunni insurgents and disrupted by intra-Shiite fighting.

In northern Iraq, where US commanders say Al-Qaeda jihadists have set up their strongholds after being chased out of Baghdad and surrounding belts, separate roadside bomb and rocket attacks killed nine people, officials said.

In Tal Afar town, insurgents sent a Katyusha rocket scudding into a crowd observing Ashura, killing seven people and wounding 20, Mayor Najim Abdallah told AFP.

In the northern city of Kirkuk, two people were killed and seven wounded in a roadside bomb attack on an Ashura event, police said.

As evening fell, a bomb exploded in a restaurant in the Shiite slum of Sadr City in eastern Baghdad, killing two people and wounding 12, a security official said.

And in Ramadi, capital of western Anbar province, two suicide bombers blew themselves up inside two police posts killing six policemen and wounding 13.

The explosive vest of a third suicide bomber who attacked another police post in the village of Obeid, on the northern outskirts of Ramadi, failed to detonate and he was arrested, a security official told AFP.

The US military, meanwhile, said four Iraqis were killed in a mortar attack in Balad, 75 kilometres (45 miles) north of Baghdad in Salaheddin province.

A military official said the mortar, fired into a residential area, also wounded six people.

About Ashura, an event which marked the split between Shiite and Sunni.

In early Islamic history the Shia were a political faction (known as the "party of Ali") that supported Ali, son-in-law of the Prophet Mohammed and the fourth caliph (temporal and spiritual ruler) of the Muslim community.

Ali was murdered in AD 661 and his chief opponent, Muawiya, became caliph. The great schism between Sunnis and Shias occurred when Imam Ali did not succeed as leader of the Islamic community at the death of the Prophet.

Caliph Muawiya was later succeeded by his son Yazid, but Ali's son Hussein refused to accept his legitimacy and fighting between the two resulted.

Hussein and his followers were massacred in battle near Karbala in AD 680. Both Ali's and Hussein's deaths gave rise to the Shia cult of martyrdom, and to their sense of betrayal and struggle against injustice, oppression and tyranny.

It might seem simplistic to some, but one suspects the risks of Christmas caroling are to be preferred.



And so the festivities and traditions of Ashura are passed from father to son.

Of such things, cultures are formed.

A Disproportionate Amount of Discussion A Disproportionate Amount of Muslim Bombers

Somebody call a doctor!

The head of the Muslim Council plays the victim card and increasingly, even the British are not feeling guilty.

Dr. Bari discusses the reasons for tensions in the Isles in the Telegraph:

Dr Muhammad Abdul Bari, the leader of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), thinks the Government is stoking the tension.

"There is a disproportionate amount of discussion surrounding us," he says. "The air is thick with suspicion and unease. It is not good for the Muslim community, it is not good for society."

This is MAD magazine material. One wishes the interviewer--or someone in the Gordon government--would make the straightforward observation: the "disproportionate amount of discussion" will cease when the disproportionate amount of bombers blowing up British citizens ceases to be Muslim.

Simple, huh?

Not for the doc.

He's like a growing number of his countrymen these days: fearing for Britain.

"Britain must", he warns, "beware of becoming like Nazi Germany."

He really did say that. Yes, he did. And ehe interview didn't mention anything about him doubling up in an abject fit of laughter while saying it.

As Robert Spencer put it in Jihad Watch:

Nothing really surprising here. When have we ever seen a Muslim leader in the West say, "Yes, we have a serious problem in our community, and it's up to us to clean it up"?

Britain's possible march to a National Socialist future will halt the day Muslims assimilate to the culture of the country in which they've chosen to settle. It will also halt when the government and newspapers quit tiptoeing around the whining of these "community leaders" and issue some straight-talking statements.

Until then, the prescription for the U.K. and it's seething minorities is the same: assimilate with all due haste or perhaps you'd be better off elsewhere.

The British living in crime-ridden neighborhoods and wondering when the next terrorist bombing will occur will not agree with Dr. Bari. And Gordon Brown is slowly sensing that they don't agree with his government's handling of this matter, either.

Dr. Bari doesn't like the discussion? Start a new one; one that doesn't hold common sense up and call it "oppression". Start a discussion on why second- and third-generation Muslims are hot for jihad in England. It might also dampen his fear of Nazis.

If that discussion doesn't start soon, the British people might seek a second opinion.

Look, I like a conspiracy theory as much as the next guy, and I'm entirely prepared to consider the possibility that Di got whacked. But not because she was dating a Muslim.

Well, his numbers seem to be heading south without any help from me. My correspondents might be better advised to demand that I start referring to Hillary Saddam Clinton. But that's not the reason I demur. Like Fayed, they're mistaking a virtue for a liability. If the Right were to start insisting that Sen. Obama is not the first African-American president-in-waiting but the first Islamo-African-American president-in-waiting, a big chunk of progressive voters would merely go: Wow! Even cooler.

Saudi Religious Police: AND THE WIND CRIED MARY...

I’m sitting here in my little skirt reading an article from Down Under. Australia held a “religious” art contest, the “Blake” prize, where two of the entries were a statue of the Virgin Mary covered by a burqa and picture of Osama Bin Laden depicting a holographic image of Jesus.

The Australian Federation of Islamic Councils President Ikebal Patel said the statue was “not at all offensive” because the Virgin Mary and Jesus were revered figures in Islam.

“So [Mary wearing a burqa] is no different to how our mothers and sisters are expected to be modest in their dressing,” Patel said.

I guess, Taliban style regime is not far away from now in the Gaza strip.
Recently some anonymous group who personify itself the Just Swords of Islam has come out with a warning to the native women folk, which asserts that they are not suppose to go against the norms and traditions of Islam and so are not to be dressed in an ‘immodest’ manner.
The ‘immodest’ manner targets to not wearing of the ‘burqa’. They reveled that last week they threw acid on a girl’s
face who was not in the ‘hizab’. Addressing to the girls, they said, ‘We will have no mercy on any woman who violates the traditions of Islam and who also hang out in Internet cafes’.
They openly accepted the responsibility for attacks on 12 Internet cafes over the past few days and on a number of music shops in different parts of the Gaza Strip with the help of rocket propelled grenades.
They did so because it was ‘distracting an entire generation of Palestinians from their duty to worship [Allah] and jihad so that they could serve their Zionist masters and the Crusaders’.
