Rudy Giuliani Quotes: Ten Zingers from Giuliani's RNC Speech

Your Ad Here

Rudy Giuliani's RNC Speech
Republican National Convention
St. Paul, MN - September 3, 2008

"Tough times require strong leadership, and this is no time for on-the-job training."

"And he will keep us on offense against terrorism at home and abroad. For four days in Denver and for the past 18 months, Democrats have been afraid to use the words "Islamic terrorism." During their convention, the Democrats rarely mentioned the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. They are in a state of denial about the threat that faces us now and in the future."

"...you have a resume from a gifted man with an Ivy League education. He worked as a community organizer and immersed himself in Chicago machine politics. Then he ran for the state Legislature — where nearly 130 times he was unable to make a decision yes or no. He simply voted "present."

As mayor of New York City, I never got a chance to vote "present." And you know, when you're president of the United States, you can't just vote "present." You must make decisions."

"Almost exactly one year ago during a Republican presidential debate in Durham, N.H., I said that if I weren't running for president myself, I'd be supporting John McCain. Well, I'm not, and I do."

"We the people" — the citizens of the United States — get to decide our next president, not the media, not Hollywood celebrities, not anyone else.

"...he ran for the U.S. Senate. He won and has spent most of his time as a "celebrity senator." No leadership or major legislation to speak of. His rise is remarkable in its own right — it's the kind of thing that could happen only in America. But he's never run a city, never run a state, never run a business.

He's never had to lead people in crisis. This is not a personal attack ... it's a statement of fact — Barack Obama has never led anything.

Nothing. Nada."

"So, our opponents want to reframe the debate. They would have you believe that this election is about "change versus more of the same." But that's really a false choice. Because "change" is not a destination, just as "hope" is not a strategy."

"In the single biggest policy decision of this election, John McCain got it right and Barack Obama got it wrong. If Barack Obama had been president, there would have been no troop surge and our troops would have been withdrawn in defeat.

Sen. McCain was the candidate most associated with the surge. And it was unpopular.

What do you think most other candidates would have done in that situation? They would have acted in their own self-interest by changing their position. How many times have we seen Barack Obama do that?

Obama was going to take public financing for his campaign, until he didn't. Obama was against wiretapping before he voted for it. When speaking to a pro-Israel group, Obama favored an undivided Jerusalem, until the very next day when he changed his mind.

I hope for his sake, Joe Biden got that VP thing in writing."

"And as a former U.S. attorney, I am impressed by her success in combating corruption — when she found unethical and illegal behavior among the power brokers of her own party, she did not hesitate — she acted courageously and independently. That's the kind of reformer we need — she shook up Alaska. She'll shake up Washington."

When Russia rolled over Georgia, John McCain knew exactly how to respond.

Having been to that part of the world many times and having developed a clear worldview over many years, John knew where he stood. Within hours, he established a very strong, informed position that let the world know exactly how he'll respond as president. At exactly the right time, John McCain said, "We're all Georgians."

Obama's first instinct was to create a moral equivalency — that "both sides" should "show restraint." The same moral equivalency that he has displayed in discussing the Palestinian Authority and the State of Israel.

Later, after discussing it with his 300 foreign policy advisers, he changed his position and suggested that the "the U.N. Security Council" could find a solution. Apparently, none of his 300 advisers told him that Russia has a veto on any U.N. action. Finally Obama put out a statement that looked ... well, it looked a lot like John McCain's.

Here's some free advice: Sen. Obama, next time just call John McCain.

Iowa's Forgotten Man: Rudy Giuliani Parodies

The Iowa caucuses were held yesterday and Rudy Giuliani didn't campaign in Iowa, choosing instead to concentrate on other electoral venues.

Would not campaigning in Iowa hurt Rudy?

Not in the political parody department.

Rudy Giuliani was quiet, but not forgotten when it came to the efforts of Internet parody-mongers.

We present a few of their efforts covering Rudy Giuliani, "America's Mayor".

Giuliani was admired for his actions on September 11.

Voters wanted to know: who was the real Rudy?

Rudy had his detractors, especially on the Left.

They thought he was too hard-core.

But they also thought he was too soft.

But he also had his supporters, too.

Rudy was looking fit for his DBKP Political Cage Match against Duncan Hunter.

What would Rudy Giuliani do if his presidential bid didn't work out?

Giuliani pledged to keep America safe from threats.

From ALL threats

Would the presidential match-up feature Rudy Vs. Hillary?

Some certainly thought so.

What would be the Giuliani strategy against Clinton?

Regardless, Rudy will try to appeal to all voters.

The political season is a long one. Especially the 2008 presidential campaign: never has a campaign been such a marathon undertaking.

With that in mind, we're betting these aren't the last parodies of Rudy Giuliani.

Republican Presidential Candidates: 2008 Astrology Predictions

We decided to look up the 2008 astrological forecasts of the Republican Presidential race front runners.

Rudy Giuliani

From Astrofuture Trends:

Astrologer Phillip Brown, M.A. writes that Giuliani has a Mars-Pluto power conjunction in Leo and a Sun-Uranus conjunction in Gemini (see horoscope, although his birth time is not known so we can’t know his Ascendant or any of the house cusps). The conjunction of the Sun and Uranus does show his potential for strong leadership in emergency situations, although many of his 9/11 actions have since been inflated by him or have been called into question. Saturn will be squaring Giuliani’s Sun-Uranus conjunction during the February state primaries, so his candidacy may begin to dim around that time.

Mitt Romney:

From Accumind:

Uranus is leaving the 10th house of career, moving in on his sun - which could bring some sudden changes in April and August of 2008, but Neptune moves thru the 10th of career - not indicative of high public office.

Source - Alabe

Fred Thompson

From Circles Of Flight:

Thompson made his announcement just as transiting Pluto was turning direct while trine his Leo Sun. Progressing his chart reveals the strong role Jeri plays in this campaign, since his progressed Juno was exactly (to-the-minute) conjunct his Moon. Over the next few months, as transiting Pluto approaches the square to his Neptune, he will be challenged to better define his agenda, to get specific about his policy proposals.

Huckabee Natal Chart [Star IQ]

Mike Huckabee

Although Mike Huckabee was born with his Sun in self-effacing Virgo (August 24, 1955; Hope, Arkansas; time unknown), his Venus-Mars-Pluto triple conjunction in late Leo adds plenty of confident, mission-oriented optimism to his candidacy, with Venus providing the folksy, likeable, Southern charm. Over the last few months of his spectacular rise, slow-moving Pluto has been favorably trine his triple conjunction in Leo.

Huckabee's Jupiter in Leo is exceptionally significant in his natal chart with its close square to Saturn in Scorpio. In the religious sense, it's about knowing the difference between living faith and dead ritual. In the current campaign, Huckabee has gone from no hope (Saturn) to potential winner (Jupiter). Next week, Jupiter enters Capricorn and trines his Virgo Sun just before the Iowa caucus on January 3, a very promising sign.

In terms of his connection with the American people, his progressed Jupiter at 25º Leo opposes the U.S. Moon**, so that he taps into the religious faction, including the 40 percent of Iowa Republicans who call themselves evangelicals. As transiting Jupiter moves deeper into Capricorn, Huckabee's strength will probably wane, unless he can broaden his appeal. However, with Pluto entering Capricorn and trining his Sun, he may remain as a power-broker within the GOP, a king-maker representing the religious right. Source - Star IQ - Jupiter-Pluto Lifts Mike Huckabee

Ron Earnest Paul

From Nafella:

Since we cannot find Paul's time of birth we are unable to get a natal chart.

According to Wikipedia, Ron Paul was born in Greentree, Pennsylvania on August 20, 1935. Since no birth time is provided, we will make do with a Moon sign horoscope and not consider the position of the horizon (Ascendant) at the time of birth.

This is what we can see in his birth chart:

Mars retrograde in Gemini between now and end of January 2008 will give him considerable momentum towards achieving his objective. Mars moves out of Gemini towards the end of April. By mid May we will know how far Mars has carried him.

Saturn in Leo is not very helpful. It goes retrograde on December 20th and remains so until early May 2008. His campaign will face strong opposition from the establishment, which will work behind the scenes to put a stop to his campaign.

The net of all this is that Ron Paul will have Jupiter (intellect) and Mars (passion) working strongly in his favor, with Saturn (establishment) working hard to bring him down between mid December 2007 and mid May 2008. If his campaign (of intelligent and passionate people) is still holding strong towards the end of May 2008, we may see some very interesting and surpising times in the campaign for rest of 2008! There you go, astrological predictions for the Republicans.

Next up, the Democrats.

Groovy.

Rudy Giuliani Stalked By 9/11 Crackpots

Rudy Guiliani makes a campaign stop and was confronted by the Troof. Saturday.
“A group of 9/11 conspiracy theorists heckled Republican presidential front-runner Rudy Giuliani as supporters booed and chanted "Rudy" at a campaign stop in Loveland, Colorado Saturday.

Jason Charles, a member of wearechangecolorado.org, accused the former New York City mayor of having prior knowledge of the attack on the World Trade Center and covering up evidence that would have shown a conspiracy.

"He covered up criminal evidence that was on the scene," he said.”
-- The Denver Post

At today’s quick stopover in Loveland, Colorado, Rudy Giuliani had yet another run-in with a small group of conspiracy theorists, or “Troofers.” Giuliani said that the Troofers were “protesting all over the place” and referring to the 9/11 accusations, “It is very sad; it’s not true.”

Giuliani was also asked about his involvement with former New York City Police Commish Benard Kerik and Giuliani’s recommendation of Kerik to head the Department of Homeland Security.

“I made a mistake,” Giuliani said. "I apologized for the mistake, I should have vetted him more carefully. I have done many things; that doesn't mean I made all the right decisions," he said. "Do I do everything right? No. Do I learn from my mistakes? Yes."

As to the Troofers accusations that Giuliani “covered up criminal evidence that was on the scene.” The conspiracy theories as to what “really” occurred range across a broad spectrum of crackpot assertions from Rosie O’Donnell’s claim that “fire does not melt steel” to the accusation that the Bush government and/or Rudy Giuliani were behind 9/11.

Rudy Giuliani Vs. Ron Paul on 9/11:

The Entire Exchange

Rudy Giuliani vs. Ron Paul on 9/11. [video 4:34]

If you put up a Ron Paul video, you hear both sides, you read both sides--there seems to be no middle ground on Dr. Paul. No comments or emails are ever received which say "Oh, I don't know how I feel about Ron Paul".

I hear people swear by Ron Paul; I hear others swear at him.

So, putting up any video invites attacks, even though most posters are passionate, yet perfectly civil. We thought this video would be a good illustration of the "No Middle Ground About Ron Paul" Theory. It's the famous exchange between Paul and Rudy Giuliani at the South Carolina debate earlier this year. It's the entire exchange: most anti-Paul videos cut away at Giuliani's applause. The pro-Paul videos we've seen only show Ron Paul's answer to Rudy.

At 4:34, this is the entire back-and-forth between the two men. Your position on the issues will naturally affect who you think came out on top here.

You be the judge.

Ron Paul Video: American Foreign Policy, Rudy Giuliani, U.S. Military, Iran's Nukes

Ron Paul's Foreign Policy: In the Nutshell, In his Own Words

The Four-Minute Ron Paul: Love Him or Hate Him

If you have heard others arguing about Republican candidate, Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX), you will likely hear two different extremes.

"Ron Paul is a the real deal American!"

"Ron Paul is a kook!"

Paul, a Republican with strong libertarian leanings is most controversial on issues of U.S. foreign policy. Most especially his stand on the War in Iraq. Dr. Paul--he is a medical doctor--wants to end U.S. involvement immediately and return American troops home. This stand has earned him supporters from both Left and Right.

It has also earned him condemnation, mostly from the center and right. There seems to be no middle ground.

On other issues, he has a less controversial image.

This video is a chance to hear the candidate in his own words, answering questions about U.S. foreign policy on a variety of topics. It's short (3:45) and sweet. It is Ron Paul's foreign policy views in the nutshell.

It is also Ron Paul in his own words. All killer, no filler. Other than the questions, no media interference or bias, either.

It covers 9/11, Iran, Rudy Giuliani, the Middle East and the U.S. military. You will either love this or hate it. But it is unedited and Paul in his own words.

You be the judge.

Death By 1000 Papercuts:

Ultimate Political Cage Match

1st Round DBKP Cage Match Action!

Rudy "The MAYOR Of MAYHEM" Giuliani
Vs.
Duncan "DUNKIN' DEATH" Hunter

The Setting: The Death by 1000 Papercuts Polit-O-Drome
The Announcers: Mondoreb & Little Baby Ginn
The Rules: 3-question Texas Death Debate Style

MONDOREB:Welcome to the DBKP Politodrome and today's Giuliani-Hunter 1st Round Match. It's a full house for DBKP Political Cage Match action. Scalpers were getting $400 a ticket outside the arena. That's $158.09 in 1980 dollars, in case you were thinking "tickets were a lot cheaper back in my day".

LITTLE BABY GINN:I was too young to count in 1980. I hadn't hit my prime yet. But the Mayor of Mayhem looks to be in his prime today--prime fighting shape. He really looks dangerous today, Mondo. "Dunkin' Death" Hunter is a decided underdog, but look for him to hammer Giuliani on the social issues. If Rudy has a weak spot, that'd have to be it.

MONDO: The referee today is Mayor Mikey Bloomberg of New York City. Bloomberg was originally scheduled to be a Cage Match participant, Ginn, but as you know, came in heavy at the weigh-ins and didn't make the weight.

GINN: I talked to someone in the Bloomberg entourage this morning. They said the mayor's problems stemmed from one too many waffles.

MONDO: Oh ho! Waffles? It'll be interesting to see the Clinton weigh-in tomorrow. We're just about ready here for the first round to begin.

[DING! DING! DING!]
DUNKIN' DEATH Hunter:
Illegal aliens continue to funnel directly into many of our local communities and adversely impact our way of life by overwhelming our schools, inundating our health care system and, most concerning, threatening our safety.
MONDO: Hunter starts with an illegal alien punch.
The MAYOR Of MAYHEM Guiliani:
I had 400,000 illegal immigrants, roughly, in NYC. And I had a city that was the crime capital of America. I didn't have the luxury of political rhetoric. So I said: If you are an illegal immigrant in NYC & a crime is committed against you, I want you to report it. My policies led to a city that was the safest large city in the country, so they must have been sensible policies.
Source: 2007 GOP debate at UNH, sponsored by Fox News Sep 5, 2007
GINN: The Mayor slips the punch and catches DD in a Safe City Scissor. Wow! What footwork!
DUNKIN' DEATH Hunter:
"If I have a judicial candidate in front of me who can look at a sonogram of an unborn child and not see a valuable human life, I will not appoint that candidate to the federal bench."
Ginn: Rudy's hit and he's hit hard! Hunter fires off a Human Life Haymaker and catches the Guiliani squarely in the stomach! The mayor might be in trouble here. It looks like he's having trouble breathing!
Mondo: Not as much trouble as a 2nd-term fetus, Ginn.
The MAYOR Of MAYHEM Guiliani:
I believe the best way we can have common ground in this debate that you're hearing is if we put our emphasis on reducing abortions and increasing the number of adoptions, which is something that I did as mayor of New York City. But I think ultimately that decision that has to be made is one that government shouldn't make. Ultimately, a woman should make that with her conscience and ultimately with her doctor.
Source: 2007 GOP Iowa Straw Poll debate Aug 5, 2007
Mondo: Giuliani got out of trouble, but he's still hurt.
Ginn: Yeah, Hunter's gotta be feeling pretty good now; he's still in this thing.
DUNKIN' DEATH Hunter:
In September 2007 I voted "Yes" for a bill in which schools forfeit funds if they expose kids to gay propaganda."
MONDO: Hunter's going for it all! The Gay Pride Pretzel! Rudy's gotta be thinking this is a drag!
The MAYOR Of MAYHEM:
My decision to reduce funding for the Brooklyn Museum of Art after it
displayed sexually explicit cutouts and a portrait of the Madonna defiled with elephant dung was hysterically opposed by the New York elite. The politically correct never envisioned that people could in good faith have a difference of opinion about whether public money ought to be used to desecrate a religious image. There was an important First Amendment issue at stake. I believed that the mayor should never have the right to stop anyone from making a statement of any kind. People have a right to free expression. If they were to create offensive art on their own property, using their own funds, and someone were to attack them for doing it, the mayor would
be obliged to protect them, and so would the police. But I believe there is a difference between protecting someone's right to desecrate a religious image and being required to fund that desecration using tax dollars from the very people it offends.
Source: Leadership, autobiography by Rudolph Giuliani, p.225-226 Oct 1, 2002
GINN: A stunning comeback! Giuliani pulls off a Religious Icon Kamikaze! Truly magnificent!
Mondo: I have to agree, Ginn. Everybody loves an underdog and Hunter showed surprising power here today. But you have to hand it to Rudy. His ability to slip Hunter's big punches was key. Still, it has to be closer than most people expected.
GINN: And now the judges' decision and I'd like to remind our viewers that the judges decisions are FINAL!

[JUDGES DECISION: Rudy "The Mayor of Mayhem" Giuliani" over Duncan "Dunkin' Death" Hunter 2-1]

GINN: Rudy the winner! He'll take on the winner of Mitt "The Maulin' Mormon" Romney and Mike "The Heartless" Huckabee in the Quarterfinals. That's it for this Round 1 action. Rudy came out on top. Be sure to be here for our next match: Hillary "Cacklin'" Clinton vs. "Invisible" Mike Gravel.
MONDO: Until then, have a safe trip back home.

Rudy Has a Problem with Values
--And Fashion--Voters

The latest polling news is grim for Rudy and the Republicans: they get crushed by the Clinton fashion juggernaut.

Polls say that in a match-up between Rudy in drag and Hillary Clinton in a peach pants suit with navy blue scarf, voters prefer Hillary by almost 20%. If Giuliani changed his outfit to a more presidential Brooks Brother suit, likely voters indicate that the gap is more than cut in half to 9%--if the suit is a dark blue.

This according to the latest Zogby Poll.

Of course, that's Fred Zogby, the guy down at the Limestone General Store who said he'd check this out for us. Fred completed his research and dropped it off while on his way to town. When told that there was no hurry, Zogby responded "People have a right to know."

Fred was partly motivated by the latest news from Pew Research and the analysis from Politico
One year before voters go to the polls to select the next president, the Republican Party is as weak as it has been in a generation, a detailed new poll suggests.

In a hypothetical match-up between Hillary Clinton and Rudy Giuliani, bloc after bloc of traditionally Republican voters break for Clinton:

She wins the South. She polls evenly with voters who attend church at least once a week. She splits families with a household income above $100,000. She loses rural voters and men — but only by a narrow margin.

The findings from The Pew Research Center for the People & the Press remain preliminary, considering even the primaries are still two months off.

Dire news indeed for early November--in 2007.

Back to our Zogby. He indicates the poll has a statistical margin of error of plus or minus 14%, depending on time of day asked and number of beers consumed by the respondents. He was quick to point out that these results might not reflect the moods of Americans on Election Day 2008, seeing as how that's over a year away.

But they're probably as accurate as their more-scientific brethren at this point.

Giuliani's Illegal Immigration Plan:

"Give Me Three Years"

by Mondoreb & Little Baby Ginn

Rudy Giuliani wants to do for the U.S. as president what he couldn't do for New York City as mayor: reduce illegal immigration within three years.

More on a man with a plan by the New York Daily News:

If elected president, Rudy Giuliani wants to do for illegal immigration what he did for crime in New York City - reduce it dramatically within as little as three years.

"It can be done. It is not impossible," Giuliani told an Iowa town hall-style meeting on Wednesday night. "You can do this, you can stop them at the border."

To get the job done, Giuliani said he would boost the number of border patrol agents to 18,000 from the current 12,000 - much like he increased the size of the NYPD as mayor - and build a physical and "technological" border along the U.S.-Mexico border.

"If you do this for two or three years, you'll change behavior," Giuliani said. "If people come to the border and figure they can't get in, they'll stop."

Giuliani has been touting his illegal immigration plans since last summer, but his pledge to put a time-limit on dealing with the problem - considered among the most complex on the domestic front - is a more recent addition.
The generally-friendly tone of the article addressed a concern of many in the last paragraph.
Giuliani - who as mayor was considered among the most immigrant-friendly executives in the country - has stopped short of calling for the deportation of all illegal immigrants, saying deporting 12 million people is an unrealistic goal.

But he has called for the immediate deportation of all illegal immigrants who commit crimes.
So Rudy's joined the chorus of those strawmen-builders who keep addressing a question which has never been brought up by anyone except themselves:

"Can we deport all the illegals?"

He's spent considerably less time addressing his record as mayor on this problem and his support of sanctuary laws then on the books and any attempt by city officials to change them.

Giuliani doesn't require a dressing-down on this problem, but the insistent questions remain until he answers them; brushing them aside whenever they are raised or changing the channel won't satisfy those want to know.

The question of an ID card, and whether there will ever be such an animal remains for a later date.

PC Queen Dowd Snarks Rudy for Pro-American Behavior During War

And the Sun Rises in the East

Dowd: Are the snakes causing the snarks?

by Mondoreb & Little Baby Ginn

You'd think Maureen Dowd would change her M.O. occasionally and give long-suffering readers of her New York Times snarkfest a break. The latest Dowd sneer-o-rama focused on David Horowitz and Rudy Giuliani. What did the two gentlemen do to merit the condescension that is a tiny slice of the Dowdrums?

Why, they pointed out that Islamofascists threatened to kill Americans, have killed Americans and have rained destruction on Dowd's New York City. So who's Maureen Dowd worried about?

The Arabs, of course. But let her tell it:
The Freedom Center’s terrorism awareness program is urging college students to stage sit-ins outside the offices of women’s studies departments to protest “the silence of feminists over the oppression of women in Islam” and to distribute pamphlets on Islamo-Fascism. Their titles include “The Islamic Mein Kampf,” “Why Israel is the Victim” and “Jimmy Carter’s War Against the Jews.”

One wonders, "Where are the feminists?" Where is their outrage over the oppression of the Muslim women? Evidently Muslim women do not count in Dowd's Feminist World. How is it that she refuses to acknowledge the work of Ahmadinejad and Iran’s attempts to write revisionist history of the Holocaust; the Mullah’s talk of driving the
“Zionists” from the face of the earth; or, Jimmy Carter’s Habitat For Inhumanity adopting the extremely dysfunctional Hamas terrorists in the name of solving the Middle East “Peace” Crisis?

The snark soon turns to Rudy:
But Rudy seems out of the Republican mainstream on even giving lip-service to Palestinian aspirations. He has no patience for buttering up the Arabs, or the Republican men’s club attitude represented by Saudi-loving Bush senior and James Baker that has always favored a more “even-handed” policy in the Middle East.

Rudy couldn't possibly have views formed from what happened on September 11: it's all a political calculation as Dowd reports it. And so on and on and on.

Rudy was 'rude' and this constitutes 'roughing up'. What kind of scornful bon mot does Dowd use for the 9/11 hijackers? The ones that put Horowitz and Giuliani in her sights.

One wishes Maureen Dowd to once write a column that would show contempt for that tight little circle she frequents, instead of those calling attention to America's enemies. Just once. But then, if that were to happen, Maureen Dowd might be on the receiving end of elite snark. And that would set the snakes in anyone's head to writhing.

For perhaps a more forgiving view of Dowd, check out the Dowd Report.

Giuliani Is Prepared

Even For Space Aliens!

by Little Baby Ginn & Mondoreb
[Weekly World News photo]

Rudy Giuliani is prepared for anything: terrorists, Democrats, even space aliens. The following exchange took place today at a campaign stop in Exeter, NH. A small boy in the audience asked about the possibility of interstellar attack.

"If (there's) something living on another planet and it's bad and it comes over here, what would you do?" the boy asked.

Giuliani, grin on his face, said it was the first time he's been asked about an intergalactic attack.
"Of all the things that can happen in this world, we'll be prepared for that, yes we will. We'll be prepared for anything that happens," said Giuliani, who spent the day campaigning in key early voting state.
Rudy knows that there is something bad out there--and it wants to come over here. Moreover, he's pretty sure they're not Klingons.

Terrorists to Giuliani:
"You Don't Deserve to Live"

Jimmy Carter Mum

[above: Jimmy Carter's Spokesrabbit, Harvey. photo: LBG]

by Little Baby Ginn

Terrorists threaten presidential candidate, cite Rudy's war stance, Arafat treatment

Where Is Jimmy Carter’s Outrage?
Too Busy attacking VP Cheney?
When It's More Than Just A War Of Words

Apparently Republican presidential candidate, Rudy Giuliani, has touched a few nerves in the terrorist community. A well-known terrorist organization spokesman, Ramadan Adassi, chief of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades:

WND Exclusive ELECTION 2008
"If I had the occasion to meet him (Giuliani), I would hurt him.”
Abu Hamed, chief of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in the northern West Bank:
"[Giuliani] can hate Arafat and the Palestinians, but he knows that nobody is hated in the world more than his leadership, his party, his president, and his Zionist friends. All the polls in the world prove that this [conservative] wing of America and the Zionists are considered to be the most dangerous for the security of the world."
Pre-9/11, Osama in 1996, Bin Laden issued a fatwa or declaration of war against the United States. No one knew it would eventually mean the death of over 3000 of our citizens. Couldn't the same now be said about the safety of Rudy Giuliani?

Palestine is and has always been Jimmy Carter’s favorite Habitat For Inhumanity. The man was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 for in the words of the Nobel Peace Prize Awards Committee , “untiring effort to find peaceful solutions to international conflicts, to advance democracy and human rights, and to promote economic and social development."

A large of part of this Peace Prize was for Carter’s long time work in finding a “solution” to the Middle East “crisis.” Of course this Middle East crisis has been ongoing for literally decades and has afforded many Presidents, diplomats, bureaucrats and their ilk the chance to sort it out. Numerous visits to Camp David, photo op’s at the White House all in the quest to bring “peace” to the Middle East. No one has been milking the Middle East Peace Crisis a la Palestine longer than Ex-President Jimmy Carter.

When will people realize that Carter is/has been championing a long line of dedicated and outspoken terrorists--whose main occupation is brute force and terror, not democracy. Where is Jimmy Carter’s outrage over Abu Hamed, Chief of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade’s statement that he would “hurt [Giuliani]”? Or that
"[Giuliani] can hate Arafat and the Palestinians, but he knows that nobody is hated in the world more than his leadership, his party, his president, and his Zionist friends. All the polls in the world prove that this [conservative] wing of America and the Zionists are considered to be the most dangerous for the security of the world."
When you adopt a long line of dysfunctional and thug children as Jimmy Carter has done all these years. With Arafat and his ilk one needs to take a closer look at terrorist enabler Carter: his “children” are not going to change. Their modus operandi works well for them. They have a United States ex-president as their spokesperson-foster father and a blank check from the citizen taxpayers of America.

When will Jimmy Carter denounce these types of statements and the terrorists who make them? Especially when made against someone like Rudy Giuliani. Giuliani stood up to the world’s most beloved thug and terrorist Arafat back in mid-90s.

Multiple leaders of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades had harsh words for Giuliani, who in 1995 famously booted Arafat from an invitation-only concert at New York's Lincoln Center celebrating the 50th anniversary of the United Nations.

Arafat attempted to crash the event, and when Giuliani saw the PLO leader and his entourage making their way to a private box seat near the stage, the mayor immediately ordered Arafat off the premises, calling him a murderer and a terrorist.
So apparently, Rudy's not going to be getting many Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade votes in any of the Republican primaries real soon. Of course, he would be in real trouble if they showed up at any debates: they would be the clear favorite in any Rudy-AA Martyrs Brigade showdown hosted by Chris Matthews. But the key fact to remember is: his life has been threatened by terrorists.

Again, where is Jimmy Carter’s outrage?
