The good folks at Red Planet sadly remind us that as long as there is evil in the world there will be those who choose to ignore it. The War on Terror is no different.
The jihadis weren't the first to have their apologists; when America was fighting for it's life during World War II, the Nazis also had their champions in the U.S., most notably Joe Kennedy and Charles Lindhbergh.
Leading up to World War II, Dr. Seuss ripped the America First isolationist/anti-war movement almost daily. It would be interesting to see what kinds of cartoons Dr. Seuss would be turning out if he were still with us today.
As for Dr. Seuss’ original caption: “We always were suckers for ridiculous hats.” This might have been the earliest known sighting of a moonbat hat.
If Dr. Seuss were alive today, liberals in particular and the Harry Reid/Nancy Pelosi crew would already have cranked up the Great Progressive Smear Machine.
It's better that the beloved Doctor is peacefully in repose.

ReplyDeleteIf it has anything with ignoring countries or groups who hate the USA, you can be sure there will be some Democrats eager to get in that line.
We were trying to figure it out. Is it because they are 1-traitors; 2-cold political calculus; or, 3-just plain stupidity?
Traitor=Murtha, Kerry
ReplyDeleteCalculated=Hillary
Stupid=Schumer, Dods, Obama, Pelosi, Reid etc
