John Edwards Scandal: Wealthy Democratic Fundraiser is Edwards Money Man

Mystery Man Resides in Dallas, TX

John Edwards Scandal

The National Enquirer released more than just the photos of John Edwards holding Frances Quinn Hunter yesterday [: it also revealed more clues to the identity of the man who, the Enquirer claims, funneled the hush money to Rielle Hunter and Andrew Young.

But, the Enquirer released the details in their print edition only, which hit parts of the country yesterday. One area of the country which doesn't have the new Enquirer yet is our own. But through the efforts of one reader--who wishes remain anonymous and who purchased a copy of the newest Enquirer for us!--that went beyond and above the call of duty, we did obtain some details about the Edwards "hush money man".

We won't spill all the Enquirer's beans here; after all, David Perel, the Enquirer's Editor-in-Chief, has to recoup the investment of a year's worth of reporting on the story.

It ain't cheap chasing around people who don't want to be found.

However, we will report a few of the Enquirer's findings about a man, about whom an earlier Enquirer story would only refer to as, "a wealthy colleague who was closely tied to the Edwards’ campaign. This same man is also shoveling cash to Edwards’ pal and former aide Andrew Young – who tried to take the heat off the ex-Senator by claiming he is the father of Rielle’s baby."

The Enquirer also wrote last week on its website [EDWARDS' HU$H MONEY TO MISTRESS]: “A super-rich pal – who was closely involved with the campaign finances – is helping John. It’s likely this man doesn’t know all the dirty details of John’s extramarital affair, but is acting out of loyalty and is not asking a lot of questions – only writing the checks,” revealed a source very close to the situation."

The newest Enquirer reveals more clues to the man's identity--to entice MSM reporters who have thus far proved resistant to investigating and reporting on the story, perhaps?

A "wealthy Democratic fundraiser" from "Dallas, TX" is part of what the Enquirer reveals.

The story also states that besides the $15,000/month payments to Rielle Hunter and daughter, F.Q. Hunter, that $20,000 is being given to former Edwards' operative, Andrew Young and his family.

The details of the Enquirer's attempt to question the man, when and how much money the wealthy Edwards' backer raised?

Go buy your own copy of the Enquirer.

Any MSM reporter with an Enquirer and an Internet connection ought to be able to run down the identity of the man in a heartbeat.

Metrosexuals Drugged By 'Flirtatious' Women at posh Dallas Hotels

Proving to be easy targets, several metrosexual men have become victims of "flirtatious" women at upscale Dallas hotels and bars.

According to the Houston Chronicle, several "well dressed" men have been victimized by what authorities believe is a "ring" of "flirtatious" women. One of the men suffered "injuries" when he was beaten by a high heel shoe.

The authorities say there have been at least half a dozen incidents of men who were robbed of their high priced Rolex watches, wallets and other items after the overly flirtatious women allegedly slipped an unknown drug into their drinks.

Dallas Police Detective Mark Jenkins said that he didn't believe it was a case of the men approaching the women but of the women aggressively going after their victims, metrosexual business travelers sporting high end Rolex watches.
"I don't know if so much it's that the men are being attracted to them, as that (the suspects) are more or less forcing themselves on the men," Jenkins said.
One man who was brave enough to go to the authorities was a 37-year-old executive from Florida whose Ipod, laptop, and $4,000 cash went missing after he drank a beer with one of the "flirty" women.

Police must have some idea who the women are as the Chronicle notes the authorities know some of the women have histories as prostitutes. Rather "flirtatious" ones at that.

The moral of the story:

Metrosexual men beware of overly-flirtatious women bearing drinks at upscale bars and hotels, especially if you're wearing a Rolex.

SF Zoo Tiger Attack: Tiger Debate Touched Off

How High Can a Tiger Leap?

Is Jumping and Leaping the Same?

Were the SF Zoo Visitors Under the Influence?

Should the Tigers Have been Shot?

Other Questions

USA Human Fatalities Caused by Tigers in Capitivity
During the Last Five Years

Tiger appears to be over 12 feet off the ground

Little Baby Ginn did a story about the San Francisco Zoo tiger attack a few days ago.

In the story, which was breaking at the time she wrote, the media was speculating about how the tigers at the San Francisco Zoo might have escaped.

There were reports of boards being tossed in to help the tigers, guesses about how the tigers may have been taunted, even that someone may have opened the door for the tigers.

Jack Hanna, noted animal "expert" said it was "virtually impossible" for the tigers to have leaped from the tiger enclosure. Like any expert, just when your words get their widest media exposure, that's when you'll most likely to be mistaken.

About the only theory that we didn't read in the media was that someone had slipped the tigers the key--and that one was floating around DBKP.

LBG quickly checked the references on tigers to discover that they could leap 30 feet. At that time, she could only find materials that stated the walls of the Tiger Enclosure at the SF Zoo were at most 20 feet.

Since that story, the zoo director has stated that the walls were only 12.5 feet high.

At any rate, a furious debate on tigers and their leaping abilities and whether a leap is different from a jump was set off in comments and emails.

One email pointed out: "Leaping is across...jumping is up".

Narniaman weighed in with the following.

Uh, don't they mean that the cats can do a 30 foot long jump, and not a 30 foot high jump?

Consider man. The world record for the long jump is nearly 30 feet, but the world record for the high jump is only about 8 feet.

Of course, if the moat is only 20 feet wide, it sounds like a Tiger could jump across that without difficulty.
Pat also had thoughts: not only on the tigers' leaping abilities, but on the loss of the tigers.
It has to be a long jump. Not a 30' high jump. But now we hear the wall is some 7.5' less high than originally claimed. And these idiots baited the tiger. Hard to anger a Tiger. She thought it was a game IMHO. Tigers play by batting. You move, it bats. It's bat is only matched by a bear. Mammalian man eaters= Tiger and a couple of bears. Other mammalian killers of man out of hand= the Hippo and Rhino (irritable bunch)

I have it on very good authority that leg dangling will attract sharks also.

I am pissed we lost a tiger because of a moonbat. this was a breeder too.
Dencio agreed and asked another question.
I agree, what a waste of a magnificent animal. They are an endagered species with only a few thousand left while the illegal immigrant population keeps growing by the millions. We should breed these Tigers to guard the border with mehico. And what about the Tiger's (Tatiana - yes she has a name) family? Has anyone cared whether she had cubs?
Pat had ideas on killing the tiger.
The idea you kill tigers for what tigers do is simply wrong. This is a human error. The tiger was flawless. Tigers are not dogs.
This prompted the following from "Anonymous", a sometimes-frequent poster in tiger debates.
Are you suggesting they watch while a tiger eats a man alive? Perhaps they should have brought chairs and some popcorn.
And then dencio leaped to pat's defense, mentioning something not found in other media accounts: were the SF Zoo visitors impaired on their outing?
Those cholos had it coming. It's the process of selection - nature weeding out the stupid and the weak. I checked the kid's myspace website and I'm willing to bet they were high. His last post from Christmas day said his mood was "high".

And so it went. There was much more, but you'll have to read the comments on the individual stories to get the full flavor.

The tiger attack set off a debate that covered many subjects and ideas and lead to the above picture being sent to us by someone who is still "anonymous" at this point.

Was it right to shoot the tigers?
Were the zoo visitors impaired?
Were the walls too short?

One suspects this is not the last we'll hear of tigers in America.

Naked Twister Has its Fans, But None Are On the Duncanville City Council

Good clean fun you can have at home

Scrabble, anyone?

Town officials cool down a popular hot spot outside of Dallas.
The most popular address on Cedar Ridge Drive is Jim Trulock's split-level home, which has a group sex room and attracts as many as 100 people to swinger parties featuring "Naked Twister" nights.

But the festivities could soon be over. In response to neighbors' complaints, the city has outlawed sex clubs in residential areas. Citations have been issued, and search warrants may be next.

QUOTE OF THE DECADE

"It's crazy that they want to force their morality down our throats."

--Dawn Burton, 45, a regular guest at the Cherry Pit's sex parties, who added, "We're all frustrated."

I bet.

Trulock quiet suburban home is transformed, come weekends, into "The Cherry Pit."

Duncanville, which proclaims itself "The Perfect Blend of Family, Community and Business," is an unlikely venue for a neighborhood swinger club. The city of 36,000 just southwest of Dallas has about 50 places of worship and not a single registered sexually oriented business.

Duncanville officials insist they are not just another prudish Texas town giving the boot to spouse-swappers. They say it all boils down to a matter of law: Trulock is operating a business featuring live sex acts.

"It's not trying to judge anyone or pass judgment on someone's lifestyle," city spokeswoman Tonya Lewis said.

To support its claim, the city notes that the Cherry Pit accepts money from guests and promotes the parties on its Web site.

"We're not about infringing on the rights of the Cherry Pit patrons or owners," Lewis said. "But now your right to have fun has infringed on everyone else's. And now you have to draw the line."

"If you're going to do that, you should open a business," Martin said. "Go somewhere where it's allowed."

Attorneys for Trulock, 59, say the Cherry Pit is nothing more than a private residence where a group of friends get together on weekends to socialize in whatever way they prefer.

While guests are encouraged to make "voluntary donations" to cover the cost of food and refreshments, organizers deny that anyone is being charged admission to his parties.

Ed Klein, an attorney for the Cherry Pit, said many guests give no money, but those who do often chip in $10 or $20. Klein said he plans to file a lawsuit next week that will challenge the constitutionality of the ordinance and seek a temporary restraining order against the city.

"I don't think it's persecution so much as an invasion of their privacy," Klein said.

Arthur Leonard, a New York Law School professor who studies sexuality law, said the size of the parties might be a legal obstacle.

"It seems to me when you have that number of people involved, it becomes more like a public event," Leonard said. "It seems unlikely that a court would find privacy protection for an event this large."

The city has already cited Trulock with three violations, which carry a maximum $2,000 fine. Duncanville City Manager Kent Cagle this week pledged to continue enforcing the new law.

The case against the swinger parties "does appeal to a lot of people's sense of morality," said Lewis, the city spokeswoman. "That's been a lot of complaints we've gotten from residents: 'I came to Duncanville to have a family. I didn't come here to live next to a sex club.
No more Naked Twister?

Duncanville can no longer boast of this ever-popular social ice-breaker.

There goes the neighborhood.

Prosecutors Accused Of Being Child Predators Commit Suicide

The Tale Of Two Alleged Predators Posing As Prosecutors

Last October Assistant Federal Prosecutor John Atkinson killed himself after he was caught in a child sex sting.

In today's Houston Chronicle it was reported that child porn was found in a former District Attorney in Texas's home. Fifty seven year-old Louis “Bill” Conradt Jr., caught up in an internet child sex solicitation sting, shot himself last year when the cops showed up at his door.

Atchison’s perverse background was exposed when he was arrested and then arraigned September 17th in U.S. District Court in Detroit. The irony was that Atchison was an assistant U.S. Attorney from the northern district court of Florida.

According to the police Atchison solicited an undercover officer posing as a mother for the opportunity to have “sex” with her five-year-old daughter.

Atchison was arrested at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport and charged with “enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity.”
In deposition, detectives said Atchison suggested the mother tell her daughter that "you found her a sweet boyfriend who will bring her presents."

The undercover detective expressed concern about physical injury to the 5-year-old girl as a result of the sexual activity. Detectives said Atchison responded, " I am always gentle and loving; not to worry, no damage ever, no rough stuff ever. I only like it soft and nice."

The undercover detective asked how Atchison can be certain of no injury. He responded, "Just gotta go slow and very easy. I've done it plenty," according to detectives. Click On Detroit
Conradt, former Kaufman County District Attorney, was caught in an internet sting put together by the NBC show Dateline and the group, Perverted Justice. Conradt was accused of chatting online in a sexual manner with underage kids. A house was set up where those chatting online with the undercover adults were told they could meet the child. When Conradt failed to show up the cops went to his house armed with a search warrant and a Dateline camera crew.
The state investigation into Conradt's death found evidence of the online graphic chats, according to a Texas Department of Public Safety report released to The Dallas Morning News. The chat logs covered topics such as sex, erections and masturbation, according to the investigation.

Also, three laptops, a cell phone and several computer disks found in the home "all contained pornographic material (and) some included child pornography," according to the state's investigation.

The Texas Department of Public Safety asked the state attorney general to allow it to withhold some of the report's contents because it "contains images the Department believes may constitute child pornography."

The attorney general's office granted the request, saying: "The submitted documents consist of photographs of unidentified males who generally appear to be juveniles.
Houston Chronicle

Atchison hanged himself in prison on October 5th. He wrapped a bedsheet around the showerhead of his cell. He was 54 years old. Conradt shot himself in his home. He was 57.

Because they chose suicide neither man had a trial nor conviction, left in the land of the "alleged." This raises a point, both these men were prosecutors. If they were, in fact, pedophiles, what about the cases they prosecuted? Did any those cases involve child sex and/or child pornography cases?

Some might claim that these men were "unjustly" accused and therefore felt killing themselves was their only way out.

Others might have the opinion that these two men, when caught, took the only way they knew out. The fate of child molesters in prison is not a pretty one.

These two cases highlight the fact that predators can be found anywhere in our society. If these two men had been convicted then we would have had known predators in charge of prosecuting their fellow child molesters and pornographers.

As for Achison and Conradt, they chose a different route. Why did they choose suicide instead of trusting the legal system, their own profession? Why didn't they feel they could trust the courts where a man is innocent until proven guilty?

JFK Assassination Plot in Chicago Revealed

Forty-four years after it happened, details continue to come to light about the assassination and the presidency of John F. Kennedy.

World Net Daily has a story of more intrigue: an attempted whistle-blower in the form of a secret service agent; the agent's imprisonment; the recanting of the testimony of a key witness against the agent; and, the story of another November plot to assassinate JFK.

From JFK assassination plot uncovered in Chicago?:

Ex-Secret Service agent reveals tip caused president to change travel plans 3 weeks before Dallas shooting

Former agent Abraham Bolden, 72, told Chicago ABC affiliate, WLS-TV, Kennedy was waved off from a much-publicized visit to Chicago on Nov. 2, 1963, to attend the Army-Air Force football game at Soldier Field and ride in a parade after the Secret Service received a report from a motel manager who told of seeing several automatic weapons with telescopic sights on the bed of a room rented to several Cuban nationals. They had an outline of the route Kennedy was to follow from O'Hare airport that would take his motorcade past the motel. The route had been printed in Chicago newspapers.

Bolden, a former Illinois state trooper, was the first black agent to protect a president.

The Secret Service was already uneasy about the presidential visit because an outspoken critic of the president, Thomas Vallee, had arranged to take off work for Kennedy's visit. Vallee was arrested before the planned visit with an M1 rifle, a handgun and 3,000 rounds of ammunition in his possession.

News of the Cuban nationals triggered an investigation but, Bolden charges, the surveillance was mishandled and the Cuban suspects disappeared and were never identified.

"No one was sent to the room to fingerprint it or get an ID. The case was lost and that was the end of it," he said.
More food for thought for both those interested in full disclosure of the JFK story's details and JFK conspiracy theorists.
The day of the planned flight from Washington, D.C., with a suspected Cuban hit team somewhere in Chicago, the Secret Service urged a change of plans.

"The morning of the game, the special agent in charge of the Chicago office called the White House and recommended the president cancel his trip to Chicago," Bolden said.

News reports at the time blamed the change in plans on illness and a diplomatic crisis. South Vietnamese President Ngo Dinh Diem was assassinated in Saigon on that same day.

But Bolden told WLS-TV neither illness nor crisis were the reason plans were changed – JFK stayed away from Chicago because of the suspected assassination plot.
Bolden tried to come forward at the time, but his story about the assassination attempt and the bungling by officials was overshadowed by another story: that of a secret service agent arrest for bribery.

It was hard for Bolden to make much noise from a prison cell.
Following Kennedy's murder in Dallas three weeks later, Bolden said he tried to inform the Warren Commission of the Chicago plot and misconduct by Secret Service agents, including on-duty drunkenness, but his efforts were thwarted when he was arrested, prosecuted and sentenced to prison for soliciting a bribe from a counterfeiter.

Bolden, who served six years, claims he was set up to silence his criticism of agents' behavior and is hoping to clear his name after the main witness against him recanted his testimony.
This story is an illustration of the times: with so many sources of media available to people--the Internet and blogosphereare bit two--it's hard to imagine the story staying out of the public eye today.

The same media voices who chastise the blogosphere as some sort of irresponsible "Wild West" environment are the same ones who left this story unreported for years.
There's a difference between the media of 1963 and the media of 2007.

It's the difference between having 5 or 6 points of view and having a choice of thousands.

Given his choice between the sanctimonious gatekeepers of Traditional Media and today's Internet news resources, Abraham Bolden would probably cast his vote for the "Wild West".

Holy Land Verdict Reached:

Will Be Announced on Monday

[wfaa photo]

Unindicted Co-Conspirator & 'Voice of Moderate Muslims' CAIR Awaits Verdict
by Little Baby Ginn

Fears of a mistrial were abated when the Holy Land Foundation jury reached a verdict after 19 days of deliberations. The verdict was immediately sealed until the case’s presiding judge, U.S. District Judge A. Joe Fish returns to town. The verdict will be read Monday morning.

The five Holy Land defendants, all but one a U.S. citizen, are accused of raising more than $12 million and wiring it to Palestinian charity committees, who prosecutors say were controlled by a terrorist group, Hamas.

Mustafaa Carroll, executive director of the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the Council of American-Islamic Relations, said that after two months of testimony and four weeks of deliberations, Holy Land organizers and their families have been anxiously waiting for resolution.
"It's really putting a lot of stress on the family," he said after the verdict was sealed. "It has been for some time."
The trial highlighted the web of terrorist connections between Hamas, CAIR and other groups bankrolled or given seed money by the terrorist group. CAIR, in particular, long has tried to portray itself as the voice of "moderate" Muslims in the United States. CAIR was an unindicted co-conspirator in the trial.
